You killed Red Faction THQ! But also gave me Company of Heroes!

I'm neutral, if they go I'll scoop up the savings. I just hope CoH gets treated well if it is picked up by someone else.

I'll get this bundle, but I'll just tip humble and give the rest to charity. I don't like how THQ has managed itself into the ground over the past 5 years. It's their own fault.

I just hope Relic survives as they've brought me so many marvelous games over the years. Homeworld, CoH, 40k DoW, etc...etc...

Looks like they're going bye-bye after all. I don't think a humble bundle can net them enough revenue to make a difference in their bottom line considering the games included have been in plenty of bundles from Amazon and constantly on sale - most of the people who wanted to pick them up cheap already did.

Someone please save the great IPs held by THQ. =(

I'll buy it just for the Armageddon, because that is pretty much, the only game I don't have from the bundle. Let's help them out, shall we? :)

"It seems that someone else has asked them and now they are stating it is going to be Windows only, so move along folks I guess. The days of Humble being cross platform providers are over..."

Noooooo! :(

When thats true they only get $0.01 from me.

Oh no, one specific bundle that isn't even for indie games isn't going to be cross platform, so none of them will ever be that again!

No.

Hold on. If THQ goes bankrupt, does that mean Space Marine and Saints Row 2 & 3's multiplayer will be insta-dead?

I really think it's about a bundle for the Steam Autumn Sale that starts tomorrow. Makes the most sense.

Permalink

I really don't. In that case using almost the same name (without the indie part) from already well known bundle will surely net THQ some legal problems .

Its actually the same name, the company name is Humble Bundle, Inc.

A great line of games as I see. The COH series is pretty sick, plus Armaggedon, Darksiders, and metro 2033 which had great sales and pretty good feedback.

We seriously have to save THQ (If its still possible). What will be then left for us on steam when THQ leavess ? :( And I dont think that anyone of you wants to see Darksiders 3, Saints Row 4, new Warhammer or any other game from THQ Origin only !!! Even tough they are not THE MOST BESTEST, they are still one of the best developers out there (imo).

I would disagree. The only game of theirs I was ever really interested in was Titan's Quest and I have yet to play it.

I have Titan's Quest, haven't played it yet, and didn't know it was THQ. Until I read this comment, I was going to say that I didn't own a thing from THQ. XD

I've Metro 2033 on my account and I played it. I've played Darksiders on pirate version. So if it is $1 bundle, I am gonna buy.
If it is $5 bundle, I will not buy.

So what you're saying is: "I do not need Steam cause I'm cheap prick who does not want to spend not even 5$ on five awesome games."
Yeah. It' because of people like you that THQ is going under. And their mismanagment. But mostly because of people like you who'd rather pirate the shit out of games and then expect to buy them at 1$ (or get them for free) or not buy them at all.

/facepalm. THQ is going down because they are/were run by stupid fools. Every game gets pirated but that doesn't matter! Good games always sell well, but if you release terrible or unpolished games you can't expect to make alot of money.
I mostly pirate my games, but I buy most of them if there are good (Skyrim, BL2, Hitman, Sleeping Dogs, FC3 BF3, FIFA13 and alot more).
Pirating was never a reason Developers go bankrupt! Its a cheap argument for failiure in development.

Irrespective of your arguments, why be so cheap and pirate games? With the proliferation of bundles and sales with deep discounts on games, there is really no need.

Arguments about trying it first and then buying it only if you like it are rubbish. Plenty of reviews, forums, youtube gameplay videos and the like to let you see it first. In any case, take a chance and spend a little money. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. Sometimes you just have to live on the edge.

Finally, if you are pirating games you don't think are good enough to spend money on, why would you want them?

toecutter3095, people only like experiencing it themselves, not watch some crap assed video about it.

EDIT: And not everyone has the money to spend.

If someone doesn't have the money to pay for something they enjoy doing, then perhaps they should find something they can afford to do.

And crap excuses like "experiencing it for themselves" does not wash.

If "experiencing it for themselves" is crap excuse, then game devs should all close business.

There will be multiplegames-in-one-key right? So that the buyers cant trade separate games.

Yes, all in one key. Otherwise it would not even be in the registry.

If it is a multiple game in 1 key, I might not buy it Since I already own 2033. I lost Torchlight 1 in the last humble bundle I aint repeating this again
