Well, I took the poll with what is the favourite of all Music Genres (let's not get into Subgenres because I actually don't know the Names of any xp)
That would be rock. I like almost everything that is rocky, I like fast Music, strong guitars and drums and nice vocals. I only draw the line of "screaming in your ear"-music.
Doesn't matter in what Language too really, for me. If the vocals and instruments are to my liking, I like xp

I do like though like.. Melodic stuff I guess? Music with violins and pianos is also great. And now it kinda stops with Genres really, because I really jump between all of them.
Sometimes its pop, sometimes classical, sometimes even country.

The only line I draw is techno and rap, exception for the rule of course, but most times, yeah, I don't like it.
Techno sounds kinda boring to me most of the time, and most rapper also for me. The background music seems boring, the voice not to my liking and yeah, just not mine. It also doesn't help that if I understand the lyrics, like in english and german.. most of the times I wish I didn't.
I am actually not a lyric snob but some of them are just.. not mine, let's say this.
