Tbh I had the same thought when I reached 1k--I got a 4-digit number heh? I felt like 3k was a lot when I reached it too, though with all those discounts and bundle things it's not entirely difficult to make it.

I'm not even able to tell, but I'm sure I haven't played nearly 1k of them. Quite a few being bundle junks I won't even bother with, but it will take forever to finish those good ones--I prefer getting as many achievements/completion on a single game before proceeding to the next one, and my HDD space is limited too (it would take over 8TB of space to install all my games).

I finally reached 4000 games on Steam. Although having known about Steam for over 5 years (I'm not exaggerating), it was not until that free Payday: the Heist did I actually join Steam. So last day I was gifted a copy of this little game, Klabi, which made up to my 4000th game.
Honestly I haven't been doing much private GA's these months, since I've been kind of busy during that time. Even when I reached 3000 and wanted to make some train, but unfortunately didn't have the chance. For compensation (and since I've got the time) I can finally celebrate now.
