I'm stuck at Q3. Have checked the hint but no name popped out to me and there are like 100 of them...
Edit: Answer to topic. I'm kind of on an anime hiatus. I will start to watch again when Code Geass S03 is released tho, or if I pick up some recent (1-5 years ago) series, or if I start watching an adaption of a manga I'm reading. Don't think I'll go for any of the new ones, not yet.

The hint should be sufficient enough to search key terms on Google.
As for Code Geass S3, I've got to rewatch the first to seasons before that happens to jog my memory. Hopefully they don't pull a stupid reason for bringing back Lelouch. And this year or the coming years seems to be bringing back a lot of good ones from over a decade ago as well as long awaited sequels from this decade. Xebec is doing the fourth installment of Full Metal Panic! Production I.G. is bringing FLCL back as a TV series. We'll be getting sequels/spin-offs to Shingeki no Kyojin, Steins;Gate One Punch Man as well, and to one of the shows featured in the puzzle. And oddly enough (or maybe not so oddly given the rise in awareness of this market in the anime industry), The Idolm@ster is getting a SideM spin-off which features the male idols.

Maid Dragon, gabriel dropout, youjo senki, demi-chan.
Your totally right, not enough action this season, only slice of life and comedy.
Gundam is awesome action though. Glad that's still going.
Not sure why the quiz isn't accepting my answers for 4,6,17,18. Those seemed so easy yet... none of the variations I tried are working.

Okay, that explains 17,18. Got those now. But still puzzled why 4 isn't working. Can't think of any anime which has her.

Aw man I don't know anime that much man.
I'm currently watching Yuri on Ice, Iwatobi Swim Club, and Love Stage.
Will I get BL'ed if I asked for a hint of what the game at the end of the puzzle is?

To tell you how bad I am at anime, If I had a gun pointed to my head, trying to name that anime, I would be shot.

Man, that took longer to complete than I thought it would, mainly 4, 10, 17, 18 but I did it with a good bit of help from my friend google.
Right now, I'm currently only watching Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen.

I went into Kuzu no Honkai knowing the true natures of the characters, so it didn't have as much of an impact on me as it did others, but I was definitely not expecting the turn that it is taking with some of the characters. I've only read the manga, and god are some of the characters frustrating (and rightly so). There is yet for me to find another show/manga to compete with Kuzu's love polygon. I've only seen the first episode of it so far and I think Studio Lerche is doing a fine job animating it.

Figured out 4, but still having trouble with 10, 12, 14, 17, 18

Chaos;Child
Konosuba 2
Kuzu no Honkai
Masamune-kun's Revenge
Seiren
Plan to watch:
Fuuka (after finishing Suzuka and maybe watching Kimi no Iru Machi, since the former is the prequel, and I heard there are cameos from the latter)
Rewrite S2 (after catching up on S1)

Hey folks... its been ages since i last saw any anime. At some point years back i could be considered a fan but looking back im not sure- im a fan of very specific series and im bored or hate most anime out there. Years ago i had the time, patience and willfullness to check every new thing that came out (to stick with very few) but time, patience and hope of finding something of my style has run out.
Thing is, despite disliking most anime... i freaking love the ones to my taste and im sure something awesome came up- but i have no idea wich titles. Can anyone sugest me some?
Im generally into more serious series, with little to none power-crazy madness and cliches (there are exceptions) and i love psychological tense stories. I generally can't stand animes relying on humor where the humor comes from those very common tropes. I also like series that go into the weird to mindfucking or hard to define(paranoia agent comes to mind).
Some of the titles that i love:
Evangelion
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Michiko & Hatchin
Last Exile
Monster
Paprika
Paranoia Agent
Gantz
Homunculus(manga)
Death note(manga, but got fed up with how the story developed and stretched later on)
Berserk
Serial Experiment Lain
Ghost in the shell(obviously)
Fooli Cooli
Perfect blue
Earthgirl Arjuna
everything Gibli
Akira
I also enjoyed series like trigun, yuyu hakusho, tenjo tenge(art style half the reason) and full metal alchemist (creative steampunk fantasy) but generally stories centered on battles, who is stronger and such bore me to death saved few exceptions. The only recent series ive seen are amongst these: attack on titan and one punch man (awesome humor, plus makes fun and good use of the tropes i generally don't dig).
Seeing this list does anyone have a sugestion of recent anime for me to check? Older titles i probably already know.
Also anything similar to the Liar Game(manga) may interest me and...
...if there is anything close to Cromartie Highschool, if thats possible, PLEASE TELL ME!

You could say that any medium, be it film or television, can be like that. There's certainly a lot of fluff in those respective media as well. But it can be difficult finding the serious anime that used to be produced. A lot of what you mentioned are original projects not based on any source material. It can be rare for studios nowadays to take that sort of risk. And a lot of shows tend to follow some sort of fad or trend. Recently there has been a rise in isekai anime (or transported into another world anime). And there are a number of shows in the past of this particular genre like Now and Then, Here and There and Fushigi Yuugi, but what has taken off is the scenario where the protagonist is transported in a video-game-like fantasy setting like in Sword Art Online.
I recommend Shinsekai Yori. It's an engaging dystopian psychological thriller. It's largely story-focused and is based on a series of novels.
Another anime which is also getting a second season in the near future that you may enjoy is Kekkai Sensen or Blood Battlefront Blockade. It's by the same creator as Trigun as has crazy antics and a large cast similar to Baccano!.
And speaking of Baccano!, if you haven't seen Durarara!! (or even if you have), they have made new seasons so there is plenty to watch. Again, there is a large cast, and every character is given a role.
And also a heads up, this year I believe, Production I.G. will be making a FLCL television series (and I think it is catered to a western audience because of it's popularity in the west, like how Space Dandy was catered to a western audience).
You may find interest in some of the other anime shown in the puzzle featured in this discussion possibly. Aku no Hana is serious in tone and a pretty good psychological drama. The art direction can get a bit of getting used to given the heavy reliance on rotoscope. It's directed by the same person behind Mushishi if that means anything to you.
Hibike! Euphonium has some really good character drama and well written characters. It has a relatively large cast across two seasons.
Akatsuki no Yona is an exceptional anime about a princess on the run after the assassination of her father. Yona experiences great character development. However, the anime ends on a note that continues on with the manga, which is ongoing. Hopefully it will get another season, otherwise, if you watch this show and are interested, you should probably read the manga.
If you enjoyed One Punch Man, the common recommendation would be Mob Psycho 100 as it's by the same creator and features an overpowered protagonist. Mob Psycho 100 is different, however, in that it has a more focused plot and jokes aren't always about how overpowered Mob is.
I haven't seen Cromartie Highschool, but it looks like it has WTF type of humor. Maybe Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, Amagi Brilliant Park or Nichijou fit the bill? They certainly have loud zany humor. People have posted segments from these shows on YouTube, so you may have a taste of it there.

Im freaking loving the suggestions! Im yet (and about to) check each but the descriptions are interesting and caught my interest. Funny is that Aku no Hana caught my eye precisely for being rotoscoped- its a technique im actually fond of, even did sort of an essay on it for my major. Probably gonna start with it or Shinsekai (dystopian next to psychological thriller, can't resist).
And you never saw Cromartie? If you like wtf humor its a must- heck, probably the best of it of all time (i can't rationally conceive the mere idea of it being surpassed- if its possible the universe would probably fold on itself imploding on non-sense). Its somewhat like the best random internet/4chan humor from way back the time memes weren't a thing but actually being good and original (unlike said internet humor). Its almost like its the fountain of said humor, straight from plato's world of forms.
Im probably exagerating, most people i suggested hated it, the others loved it like me. Its just nonsense crude, shallow and random, but probably the best crude, random and shallow nonsense can be.

It's almost mid-season for Winter 2017 in anime.
This season seems to be full of comfy Slice of Life and comedy shows with Demi-chan wa Kataritai, Little Witch Academia, Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon and Gabriel Drop-out. And we have the season of the sequels with KonoSuba, Ao no Exorcist and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu.
What's everyone watching so far?
It's been a while since my last train, so I decided to make it a anime-themed puzzle train!
