I went to the pride parade in Tel Aviv yesterday and was awed by the great atmosphere and vibe of the event. I'm sure the other 250,000 people who attended felt the same :-)

It's not LGBTQ, it's LGBTQQIP2SAA+

Really depends on who you ask! Most people at least agree that LGBT is a little exclusive since it doesn't include people who don't fit under the lesbian/gay/bi/trans labels for whatever reason. There's an annual informal survey that found LGBT+, LGBTQ+ and queer were the most preferred terms for the respondents, but as long as you're not trying to be a jerk with the word you choose you're probably fine.

Nobody even cares about the LGBTQQIP2SAA. people to go and discriminating them. You're talking about an ultra minority which you see one out of 10,000 people. You can see more often a bully who would attack a normal person than a someone who'll just go full discrimination over the LGBTQQIP2SAA. And if you plan to say it's a huge thing online, then you should stop following people like PJW, as they are meant to attack any left wing groups, no matter what. It's not hate if you're the one following it yourself.

โWhen you hear of Gay Pride, remember, it was not born out of a need to celebrate being gay.
It evolved out of our need as human beings to break free of oppression and to exist without being criminalized, pathologized or persecuted.
Depending on a number of factors, particularly religion, freeing ourselves from gay-shame and coming to self-love and acceptance, can not only be an agonising journey, it can take years.
Tragically some don't make it.
Instead of wondering why there isn't a straight pride be grateful you have never needed one.

It is done through the perspective of Canada and gay men, but it is a does a good job of hitting the highlights and explaining why pride month is such a big deal for so many (and all within 45 mins).

June marks the LGBTQ Pride Month all over the world. Many LGBTQ people wait all year for this one month, the streets get painted with rainbows, motivational queer and trans speakers share their stories, and we are all reminded how far we've come for LGBTQ-rights and how much more we have to fight to be treated fairly. =3
