About the stray dogs. The REAL story.

Well, these packs of dogs took over main streets not dark alleyway...
And yep, you can see a pack of dogs from far away, but they can also see you, and they will start barking, and trust me, you WILL be afraid when you see 10 dogs barking at you.
Then you try to go on the other side of the street, or you may try to go back but you will meet other dogs...
This is during the night.

Old people, women. Dogs go for the weakest, also their smell and hearing is better than yours.

Dafuq would a company want with packs of wild, stray dogs that are attacking people?

^This. IF it were not for stupid humans there wouldnt be any stray dogs... But we have to agree that bands of stray dogs are dangerous and people care for their own safety and safety of their families.... so its sad that humans have to fix crap made by other people by killing of those dogs... but what have to done have to be done... To anyone who want to say it`s evil or whatever... think what would you say if your child/parent/someone from your family would get severly bitten/killed by those dogs.

This is really sad situation :(

Abandoning a dog doesn't make the dog angry, the more the dog spends on the streets there will come a day when some asshole some were will kick or mistreat that dog for no reason, because of this mentality of 'all dogs are going to kill you at night.'

Shelters for half the dogs with 2 million euros? I hope that includes caretakers and the stuff that would be needed to treat, feed, and clean all of those dogs.

Seriously, it would be cheaper to kill all the strays.

ok but even if they build shelters, there's 65000 of them. It's a huge moneysink that helps nobody. YES if people would come and adopt a majority of these pets, then yea, build the damn shelters. But you know they won't!

Why should we even care about the "rights" of dangerous animals? 90% of them can't be re-educated in any way and are not longer capable of having non-violent interactions with a human; why should we spend even one euro in keeping them alive when they are a threat to anybody that gets close?

I already have 2 adopted dogs and when I will move in a bigger house I will most likely get another one. A lot of people want to adopt dogs. There's an online adoption site that has a lot of succes. If the government made shelters and a website where they presented the dogs, the adoption rate would rise.

let them get bitten then they'll see the reason to eliminate the threat.

So if someone would have to decide between killing a dog and killing you or a relative of yours, it would be ok?

Your airplane has crashed, you are alone with anther survivor and one dog and no food.

Which one would you consider more "ethical" to eat? The one that doesn't look that much like yourself; it's just self persevation instinct; we are responsible for those equal to us before any other animal.

Other example, a building is on fire. You are a fireman and can only take one living being out of the window and to the emergency ladders. You encounter in the same room a baby and a dog.

Are you going to tell me you would think it twice before leaving the dog behind and saving the baby?
