Steam wishlist missing games

Heya!

So I noticed just now that the next giveaway ending was for Mutant Year Zero. Which I thought odd, since it wasn't shown under wishlist giveaways, and it is on my wishlist on Steam. So I checked Steam, and I couldn't find it anywhere on my wishlist. I checked the game, which reports it as being on my wishlist. I could only remove it from wishlist, by adding it to my card. Adding it again didn't fix the issue though. Game hasn't been removed from Steam either, obviously.

Has anyone tried something similar? Or maybe know if there's a fix to this?

Yeah, I just noticed there were many missing games in the wishlist tab. Hopefully it will get fixed soon...

I'm not only finding missing wishlist games, I'm finding games on my wishlist that I own already - and that I've owned for at least a year!

Steamgifts export wishlist from Steam, that does not work correct.

do you read this topic?
Its problem with steam. if you have several hundreds games in wishlist, steam will show you only 340-350. you can manually check it. so steamgifts also will be show you 350 games. games are not dissapeared from your wishlist, its still there, but dont visible.
also you cant sorting your wishlist by numbers

"steam will show you only 340-350" what are you referring to when you say this? when i look at my wishlist on steam i see everything.

When I look at your wishlist I can see 343 items. You have been lucky to stay just under the threshold if that is indeed everything. My wishlist shrinked down from 980 to 340. I have not counted myself, just an wishlist exporter script and a spreadsheet.

Yeah it does seem like people that are affected by this are mainly people with 340+ games on their wishlist.

Yeah same here. That's how I noticed. But at least I'm not the only one. Glad to learn it's a bug on Steam and not just my client that's acting up.

Apparently Valve agrees with the SG poll results saying that around 300 should be the limit on whislisted games.

yes some games on my wishlist were missing already long time ago (like "Conquest of Elysium 4" which I bought some time later so can't check now :P ). They actually were on wishlist but you won't find when searching or browsing.

I have the same problem, steam only shows 295 on wishlist but I had over 1,000 before.

Yeah there's a steam issue going on right now with wishlists. The number of games I have wishlisted are shown but a lot of the games aren't visually showing on my wishlist. I also can't reorder my wishlist atm. This is also affecting SG. If you go to wishlists on SG you will see the number of pages of wishlist GAs at the bottom but there won't be pages that you can click on currently.

I've always thought it would be a welcome feature if there were a wishlist on SG that could be maintained separately from that on Steam as an option. An added bonus is that it would also mitigate certain issues like what is going on currently. Frankly the wishlist is what makes the giveaways part of the site usable from a practical standpoint.

I have the same problem - I had 2 pages with wishlisted games, which GAs were ending a few days or weeks from now and now more than 1 page of those is gone...

HOT. DAMN. I'm reading this after just syncing on Barter and my wishlist there has been reduced to 372, in line with the numbers reported by others. I wondered why my wishlist giveaways, usually with few entries at all times, were suddendly all empty but I first thought those Gris giveaways were removed from some reason.

Now I must avoid syncing GG.deals...

Yeah, it seems that wishlist items are limited to 350.
I love how I had 40 or so giveaways going for wishlist games and now it's a nice big 6 :D
