Some of you might remember me selling off my old collection after my original system was stolen about three years ago. Finally going to replace it, assuming no one outbids me, and now I need to pick out some games to look around for / pick up on PSN.

Still own these titles.

Physical

  • Armored Core: Formula Front - Extreme Battle
  • Disgaea Infinite
  • Gods Eater Burst
  • Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam (Japanese Import)
  • Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle
  • ZHP: Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman

NZ PSN account

  • Dissidia: duodecim prologus
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: War of Lions

US PSN account

  • Class of Heroes 2
  • Corpse Party
  • Corpse Party: Book of Shadows
  • Patapon
  • Patchwork Heroes
  • Piyotama

One last thing. Don't bother to mention emulation and piracy. Not interested in downloading the Pokemon games and other Nintendo classics. I'm asking for PSP games.

All 3 of these are must have, hidden gems of the system. Pretty cheap too (if buying used).
Links are to their Amazon listings. Boxart Pictures at end of post.

Riviera: The Promised Land
This is an enhanced/remastered PSP port of the game, which was originally on the GBA.
Interesting mix of a few different styles, great battle system and characters. Interesting story. Loosely based on some Norse Mythology.

Brave Story: New Traveler
One of the older RPGs for the PSP, and yes, the box art is indeed sideways. Great, challenging turn-based RPG.

Ys Seven
This game is what got me into the Ys series. Excellent gameplay, soundtrack, and multiple difficulties.
I'd also recommend Ys: The Oath In Felghana, but it's available on Steam. Ys Seven isn't, so I threw it here instead.

ACE Combat on PSP was very refreshing. My copy of GTA came in handy aswell huehuehue

And then there´s the plethora of homebrew & emulators (not sure the newer models allow for it, my PSP is ancient) and especially that official PSone emulator - gosh did i play the heck out of Bushido Blade again!! I got half my childhood stored on that little thing!

Star Wars The Force Unleashed. On PC it's crappy game, but on PSP actually enjoyable ;)

Install custom firmware... They're not even being sold anymore.
That way you can put Arcade/SNES/GBA/PSX etc emulators on it too. Not just pokemon, lol.
They ported Call Of Duty : Zombies to PSP (CFW only)
Nazi Zombies Portable v1.0

For games:
Think I played over a 100 so....
Tekken 6
Metal Gear Acid
God of War series

Muh actually too many to list, not going to dig too much in memories. Install the custom firmware and google "best PSP / PSX games" then just start cherrypicking what you might like. If you don't understand how to install CFW, feel free to add me on Steam and i'll gladly help you out. It turned into a pretty straightforward process and bricking days are long gone.
Also Emuparadise.User Rating might help you out with choosing titles.

That's how I did it ;).
Or you just want the physical titles, which I understand.
