Movies: Bridge to Terabithia, 7 Pounds, Where the Red Fern Grows

Anime: Anohana
Movie: maybe One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Movie:Skyfall(i was sad that i wasted so much time watching this movie which had no sense).

Movie: "The Sunset Limited." with Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones
Anime: Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien

Requiem for a dream

Mary and Max, I watched it because it won an independant film award. It was so depressing that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Zegapain was quite a depressing anime, since its Matrix-esque premise is that everyone on Earth died, and doesn't even have a real body... :/

Kanon is pretty sad all along (watch the newer 24 eps version).

TV series: FlashPoint (There is some serious shit in this TV series)

You will feel depressed for a good week at least. Been wanting to rewatch for more than 2 years and still haven't summoned the will to go through it again.

Wolf's rain has a certain poetic sadness to it, more akeen to nostalgia.

Not really depressing but you'l be touched by the sadness.

Kanon, Air, Jin-Roh, Ef - A tale of memories and i could go on when it comes to anime.
Movies: Hiroshima, mon amour; Bonjour Tristesse, The Pianist and so many more
Games: probably Spec Ops: The Line

Bridge to Terabithia. I wish I only watched the first half of the film.
