Who uses Ubuntu?

Out of curiosity, I want to know who uses Ubuntu and why.

From what I can tell, all it is now is just one massive Ad Machine.

I use Linux Mint.

I use Ubuntu 12.04, without the Unity crap and I don't see any ads lol.

I used ubuntu till 10.04, then I've installed different distros: Mint, Debian, Arch, Gentoo, Suse. I'm now givin xubuntu 12.04 a try, just for the steam thing.
