When purchasing, remember to tick off the box to donate 25% of your purchases to the United Nations World Food Programme

It's a for-charity bundle, Groupees locks the donation box for those, can't unset it/don't have to set it.
If anyone is getting the option to check it off, they should probably report that :X

eh well this is a mistake on my part. normally they have the option to check off the box but here it's set. Changed the OP

Firs Holiday Helpings was very good, but it was a long time ago...
And it's interesting idea for me - buy bundle, give some money for WFP program and then get humanitarian aid from WFP )))

Gunnheim seems more likely than Valhalla Hills

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, zero chance of Valhalla Hills happening. It just released, and has $29.99 MSRP. Daedalic does bundle their games a lot, but NEVER so soon. It's most likely Gunnheim. Published by Meridian4 that jumps at the chance to bundle.

Valhalla Hills - 77% positive reviews. As ChatBot said - all games with positive reviews, and minimum - 77%.
So - good chanse, and it's Daedalic game, very often their games have big discount soon after release

Gunnheim also has 77% positive reviews :/

I can't believe my eyes. My wishes are finally heard. I was looking at Spirits of Xanadu and saw another stupid shooter. Until I read further it has a peaceful mode! So no unnecessarily fighting just exploring and puzzles. I think every game should have this option for years and now I see one that has. Just for that I love it.

That was exactly what sold me on the game, and the bundle. I don't mind the odd shooty game but I much prefer to explore a game world at my own leisurely pace.

By the way, and possibly for your interest, I have seen this concept once before, in the first System Shock. At the start of the game you can set combat, mission, puzzle and cyberspace (IIRC) from 0-3 each. If you set combat to zero then the various enemies don't move at all, making it an adventure game. Bring the combat up and the rest down and you have an FPS. Or mix and match for the hybrid of your choice.

I've not played System Shock 2 but I don't think that was carried over, which is a pity. It's an absolutely brilliant idea. You can quite literally choose what genre you want the game to be.

I have read that System Shock is going to be released in the near future with a fresh coat of paint, and if the developers retain the original configuration options then I definitely recommend it.

There's more links between Xanadu and System Shock 2 than just the difficulty setting btw.

Basically Spirits of Xanadu is a love letter to System Shock 2. They've even gone so far to recreating the starting area of SS2 in Xanadu, complete with Grav shafts and everything. Not to mention that the audio logs you find look like they were ripped straight out of the Shock games.

It's a really interesting game for anyone who likes the Shock series.
