I hate GFWL! Thank GOD it's being removed from games!!! :)

totally forgot about the original gotham city imposters. it used that icky gfwl. That plus + icky matchmaking killed that game. I remember writing a plea to the developers on their forum to do something to bring the game back to life and what do they do? makes the game F2P, but create an entirely different version and splitting the player-base even more. Blechhh
That game was fun too, the non f2p one

the stories and the world of the game is sooooo impressive, and it's definitely a must buy for book lovers.

sooo, by your criteria, i can easily put The Weaponographist into that category :)
ETA: Also going to add Windward to that list. The critics are disappointing.

With good reason, to be fair. Not even finished yet and me and my son have racked up nearly 400 Hours of game time.. Bear in mind that I only bought it at the beginning of December and it only gets played Friday night to Sunday night, when my kids are staying here. For 5 years I've tried, (and prayed, I'll be honest), to find some way to bond with my autistic, now- 6 year old son and this cheap-(ish), simplistic, little game is what's done it. I tip my hat to the creators and, if I won the lottery, I would happily fund the rest of the development time for them, that is how much that game means to me, personally.

Thats awesome, then the game is not appreciated enough, great games create bonds between people, I understand my little cousing is autistic to and mario galaxy make him express a lot more, and now he invites us to play with him, and talks to us about the game. I hope that broforce is only the start of that bond with your son.

Thank you very much, I really do appreciate that, thanks

Nooooo. The gameplay is where it's at.
Brutally difficult, and completely unique.

Pandora: First contact
Overlooked due to the release of Beyond Earth, Pandora is actually a, in my opinion, better spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri.

It does work on my yoga 2 pro and I think there is a touch-enabled games tag (or something similar)

One of the best shooters of the last decade which sold way too little copies: Shadow Warrior 2013. An indiegame that I found surprisingly good and which made me rethink my prejudices about titles with a very low price: Year Walk. Great aesthetic, short but very nice!

Not really an indie game, not really underrated, but certainly worth playing if you like FPS.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger. I know it got pretty good reviews, but people didn't appreciate it as much as they should have. It is undoubtedly the best western themed game one can play on the PC.

Red Dead Redemption on the PC!!!!! Make it happen, Rockstar...you fucking cunts. :D

LISA - http://steamcommunity.com/app/335670 I hope someone wants to give it a try. Great humour, great (sad) story, good gameplay. One of my fave games and I just found it randomly.

I've had this on my wishlist for a while, but it dropped down a little after I heard it didn't have that great reviews. I'm sure i'll pick it up once it gets a good sale though, I really like the art style and the story does seem like it would be interesting. Plus it has Jim Sterling and Johnathan Holmes in it so really how could it be bad?

I don't think you will be disappointed. It has just 8 negative Reviews on Steam (99% positive and 1% negative) which all basically don't like the dark humour and the sad story or they are too stupid to play it (half of them are people complaining about no save button while you can save in certain spots).

I consider myself the ultimate Resident Evil fangirl, owning them on every platform they were released on, with the except of Operation Raccoon city. And being that I consider the first RE the best, I still have no idea why I do not own Evil Within yet. I think I will try to get it during the summer sale.

I completely agree with you, I haven't finished it yet but i've enjoyed it so far. The game really reminds me of a RE game with some elements of From Software's Souls series + Bloodborne.
For a while I was really down on Japanese games but after playing half of Evil Within and replaying the Dark souls 1 and playing Demon's souls and Dark souls 2 I've rediscovered my love of Japanese games.

Tell me... on my 2nd or 3rd try I managed to max out her tactical and ceremonial skills, turned her into the perfect Lumen and then I die at the hand of a foreign Lumen because she can't wield her magic sword properly... So close

For me at the moment would be White Night .Bought this game on the day of its release and just around to playing it last night, and wowww. Considering it's black and white overtone, this game is very intense and atmospheric. The good sound design adds to the creepiness as well. Only have a couple hours logged so far, but will most definitely be completing this one
Would recommend this game to anyone who likes survival horror / film noir / and puzzle-related games. Also this game was published by Activision?!? <-- Ayy, Crazy.
Sooo did any of ya recently play something that ya consider a diamond in the rough?
