So I got Dishonored about 6 months ago, and also managed to pick up Knife of Dunwall and City Trials for 66% off each a few months ago. And when Brigmore Witches came out in August, I was hoping to pick it up for the same price during either the Autumn or Winter sale. Well, guess what.

Bethesda decided to put the Dishonored base game on sale at 75% off and the GOTY edition at 66% off. Now, it's only logical that the DLCs go on sale too right? Nope, they're still at their initial sale price of 33%. It's almost like Bethesda doesn't value those of us that already own Dishonored.

So Bethesda, why do you do this to me? Is anyone else here suffering the same pain as I? Is there any chance the DLCs will go any lower during either the Autumn or Winter sale? And more importantly, where is the hidden giveaway!?!?

EDIT: I give up, I can't seem to hide the below content in the source code for some reason. Oh well, there's still a small hurdle which'll hopefully cut down a few of the entries (soz gaiz).

To the bin that many paste, add this to its link with haste:

  • ZEFGm8Qd
  • UnHz55yL
  • 0XvSEA8z
  • VzmqzUfR
  • 9JRzke6S

EDIT: A young quester's noble attempt to conquer the puzzle which I have presented above.

EDIT: Bethesda hath answered my prayers! ...somewhat.

Thank you :3

And i noticed the same thing with other games yesterday. Must be some sale strategy and with luck in the future they will have bigger discounts :)

I'm sorry pally, but I saw leaked documents that said Steam was going to use the same discounts for this and the upcoming Holiday sale. Things aren't going to get any cheaper than the highlighted sales. You're out of luck this year.

Yeah, I saw that too. Let's hope that either Bethesda's got a secret DLC sale planned for the end of the Autumn sale or that email was a fake. :P

I picked up Dishonored and all (available at the time) DLC during the past summer sale for $16. I was going to start playing it after I finished a whatever game I was currently playing. I didn't know they were releasing more DLC, so when they announced it, I decided to put off playing it until I had "all" of the game. I wish I had known so I could have saved some money. If they don't put the DLC on sale, there's always the Winter sale just around the corner.

It will be, I remember that at summer sale, Dishonored was on sale 'n stuff, but not the DLCs directly, later they got on discount. That's how I got all the DLCs without Brigmore witches on -66% or -75%, not sure.

Oh lord... so Mr.Magician it seems that I wasn't the only one that saw magic in your tricks. But it shouldn't be suprising, ya?

So many tried to solve some puzzles of yours, so many tried to use logic and knowlege to find the key, so many spent whole their life (or 30 minutes) to find anything. And all for nothing! All in vain!

So it was matter of time when somebody would start calling you Magician or Wizard, no?

So show us light! Teach us!

jajajaja

And btw. how many disciples decided to follow you?

I have the same problem with Skyrim. I got the game a while ago and am still waiting for the DLC to be around $5. All this DLC business makes me want to wait for a GOTY* edition of any game.

* = GOTY that includes all DLC and is the COMPLETE version of the game.

I, too, was looking forward to picking up the DLC at a steeper discount. Oh well. Perhaps they will be available as such at the winter sale.

Here's something for those of you who own the base game/ some of the DLCs already. They are all seperate Steam keys apparently, use what you want, gift/ trade what you already have.
