is there even a point getting in a level 0 giveaway?

I "won" out of 16,089 entries in a level 0 GA. But never got the game actually.

I've won 9 games more than 10% of all my wins; 5 of them were wishlisted from public 0 lvl giveaways (excluding those GAs of thousand copies). So yeah, why not. If you have points for this don't hesitate, you lose nothing ;)

I have won 33 public lvl0 giveaways - like this, this or this. And I don't feel particularly lucky.

I'm in this site for like, 2 weeks and won 2 games. One on level 0 and another on level 1. I'm just waiting my steam market to increase my level to 3 at least

Every one of these level 0 giveaway does get a winner, so there is a point in entering them.

And any giveaway should be entered with no actual expectation of winning.

just drop some points there, it won't hurt to try.

599 is not a lot of giveaway....You have to enter a few thousand for more wins...

Most of my wins are level 0. It's a matter of entries count more than the giveaway's level. I only enter low entries group/whitelist giveaways. :P

It's as everyone else said, really all about luck. Someone has to win, but of course the odds are lower then entering say a level 8 giveaway. I'd say if you have to really see a difference in odds, you need at least level 5. But even then, it's still all about luck.

I regularly enter giveaways with maybe less then 50 people (Whitelist, high level etc), but it doesn't mean I win more then say you do, as a new user. I won my first giveaway the day after I registered, and a really nice giveaway as well. All luck my friend, keep at it, and welcome to SG :)
