It was being bombarded by the Germans
And it was raining"

I like when it's raining. That means another excuse to stay inside and play video games instead of going outside :P

Wish it would rain more here in MN.
I miss the storms MO would get when I lived there. I also became very good at predicting when the tornado sirens would go off.

Here it has been way too dry in the last 6-8 weeks, though it is raining right now. But in the south, close to the alps, they have had way more rain than would be normal. Too bad nature wasn't able to mix and match a bit better in the last 2 months.

As someone from Bulgaria, this comes to my mind:
There is Nothing Better than Bad Weather
Edit:
Forget the whitelist thing, I'm posting this because I just came home from a long walk after the rain. Nothing says "peace of mind" as the fresh air and silence after a heavy rain.

Raining? Look what happened a few days ago where I'm living!

Is it enough rain to deserve a whitelist? :D

It rains a lot in the UK as well. There was one year, it rained during the whole of the summer holidays (6 weeks)

Yeah, it's similar to the one in the picture. Maybe electronic thermostat is a better description.
One can program the room temperature and on and off times (having lower temps at nights) It detects open windows (temp. drop) and turns off the heating.
One of those things costs around 15 - 20 € but I hope it saves some money on the energy costs in the long run.

It's been pretty hot and humid lately here in New York.
