It always annoys me when people confuse Pakistan for being part of the Middle East. But I'm Pakistan, so it isn't the Middle East, and it isn't listed there, so that's proof. HAH!

Probably because it sounds so similar to Palestine. And both countries are islamic and have a long-standing tradition of feud and hate with one of their neighbours. Plus Pakistan is literally next to the Middle East. :)

Are you asking about nationality or where we are currently located in? Because I'm currently in Qatar. Been here for the past 2 years now I think. Does that make me eligible? Well, I still have to check the other requirements.

This isn't about nationality, but where one lives. Qatar would certainly work, but it needs to be defined in your Steam profile prior to the creation of this thread. See criterion #1. In any case, thanks for the bump! :-)

You're definitely not alone. I'm in the UAE and have been using Steam for 2 years now. Opening paragraph had me scratching my head though; I thought the Middle East get access to ROW games? Certainly is the case for me.

English isn't my native tongue, so I wouldn't be surprised if the opening paragraph or the entire post are not as clear as they can be. To clarify - Middle East countries do get ROW keys. This thread is simply about creating giveaways for people who live in the region.
Now that it's clearer (I hope), are you sure you don't want to join? Your profile meets all the requirements. You can also join to give rather than to win :-)

No worries. Just note that giving is optional. I'm perfectly fine if you just join for these giveaways (if you have any interest in these games). You can also remove yourself from the group after the giveaways are finished.
Edit: Your profile currently doesn't list UAE as your country of residency, so that's going to be a problem. The newspaper method can work, but I doubt the trouble is worth it for 5 giveaways ;-)

There's a discussion in the previous page about whether Cyprus is in the Middle East or not. I think Wikipedia and the CIA website don't leave much doubt that it is. It also makes sense if you look at the map:

Yea it's a bit in the grey area. The geographical location can be considered in the Middle East, but it's part of the European Union, and it's a Greek speaking country so it's very mixed xD I appreciate the invite! If you ever change your mind then I'll leave the group if you'd like. Thanks for organizing this!

You can use this to register for notifications, but why not just trade for it? There are plenty on offer, and the going rate should be very low.
