You should really don't look at the number of gifts but it's worth for example i've won 8 gifts worth in total 64.40$ and gave 11 gifts worth in total 229.89$.So i'm really close to getting more wins than gave(in fact i had situation when i won more than gave) but i'm mostly winning DLC's(4 out of 8 and 2 were shitty.VERY shitty in fact) and cheap games

And Dwarfts!? 100k copies giveaway with around 32k entries should not count(-9,99$ in price)

I might qualify: I am unlucky, in that I have yet to win anything at all, though I have given things away. I actually did the math precisely (I too am a student--so apparently I've time in front of a computer to ponder these things). At this point the odds of my having won something are somewhat over 60%, yet I have not won anything. But, then, I'm relatively new to the GA aspect of this site. I used to just trade.

Then again, I'm not quite to level 2 yet. I'm working on it steadily though. (Even when the site won't give me any credit for it: http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/cVe20/giving-away-a-favorite-game :) )
