Bundling Trine in 2021 is a creative idea as well. Last done in 2014.

There is no guarantee future buyers will get the same key, though.
At $1.6633 / $1.60 / $1.43 per game, it's not useful at all to buy the five pack.

A region lock is not a scam... besides, you do realize that Fanatical has nothing to do with that? Publishers set them.
Also, you can check if there's any restriction on the game's page. (not the bundle page, mind you)

1 - not providing full information about a product is a fraud,
2 - region lock (with run lock !) is important information
3 - publisher can be trash as much as he wants, it's their responsibility to provide information as a seller
4 - there is no info about region lock on their site (only that I can activate it), I checked 3 times
5 - because I don't buy region locked (especially with run lock) games for my account
6 - so I wouldn't buy in the first place if I knew about region locks, and would definitely spend those 5$ better
7 - they usually provided ROW keys for years so I wasn't expecting scammy behaviour from them

Their only responsibility is to sell you keys that you can use in your country on your account. They aren't obligated to provide you any further information about possible restrictions for other countries.

Well... if I look at the Pro Cycling game page on Fanatical, yes, it tells you if the game can be activated in your country. You can also click on "check country restrictions" to see in which other countries the key can be activated. Did you do that? I suppose that if Fanatical detected that you are located in a CIS country and you check, for instance, if the key can be activated in the USA, you'd surely get a big no-no. The information is there, but you have to look for it.

Again, Fanatical has nothing to do with that. Publishers decide if their games are region-locked or not.

because when there is no regional pricing for a product I would like to get full value and adequate attitude as a customer, - think about the situation when you go to car dealer and buy a new SUV for 50k in top variant, you pay for it and when you came to get it, car dealer is like here your new SUV but its actually basic version for 30k without nice seats and wheels, because its how it works for your country (even if Ukraine was never full member in "CIS"), manufacturer hates it and dealer dont give a flying f., and dealer says its your problem, because you still got that SUV model in general terms

Sub can be changed by a publisher at any time, I personally witnessed how glorified CDPR added run lock to my old region labelled Witcher 2 sub id, also Valve itself may change rules about region-locked subs, no one knows how it will go when Gaben will return to Gaea

Hum, if a key cannot be activated in a specific county, isn't it the same eventually about being region locked? Still... as goldwar said, Fanatical only obligated to provide you with Steam keys you can redeem on your account. You bought Steam keys you were able to activate on your account, there's no scam going on. There's no point crying about fraud. Because there is simply no fraud. I don't get people like you. I still don't understand why you're crying about the whole thing... Again, you bought games you were able to activate on your account... that's what was indented. Why are you upset?
That you may or may not live and/or work in another country is not Fanatical's problem. O_o
But hey, if you're so upset about the whole situation you can just stop buying from Fanatical. Again, they are not scamming you but if you're feeling like you're getting scammed, just don't purchase from them anymore. Problem solved?

wow, I thought I make myself clear with a car analogy
1 - if you like to buy the sub-par product for a price of the full product while seller cleaning their shoes on you it's your right, just don't put it on others,
2 - if you never had any problems with region locked games its better not to comment on the matter
3 - initially it was warning for those you also have problems with region locks, than it was answer on your post/s
4 - I will myself decide what to do, and stop writing about fraud selling practices of any platform when they stop give reasons

You can still play your Steam games from your Steam account even if you move to the South Pole. Region locks only apply WHEN and WHERE you are in the moment of key activation. Fast forward 10 years from now, you're freezing your batteries on a research base at the South Pole, enjoying your favorite cycling simulators on a laptop through your Steam account without anyone batting an eye. Make sure you share that pizza slice though, any sort of food in that place is a treasure by itself.

I try to list region locks in every thread, in order to avoid these cases. Maybe next time, check the thread / comments before buying? hopefully it helps.
Also, if you see "Low stock" on something that usually has region locks, then that's a good indication that you will receive a region locked key for that product.
Of course, it could also be that they're low stock, but not that likely if it's immediately after bundle launch.
Also, that RU/CIS sub for Tour de France is awesome because it contains both Tour de France AND Pro Cycling Manager.

I usually do check, to participate in poll/check game pages (even after I "fixed" region problem in humble), but this time it was a perfect storm, I didn't bother to go on steamgifts and wasn't expecting surprises from fanatical bundle, haven't had any problems for years, considering "Low stock" badge I assume I dodged a bullet in some cases early

I am only glad that Infectonator 3 is finally bundled, so I can hope for GAs or traders. But apperently only a small portion picking it up, or just going for the high cost games for more CV/ trade value.
