On TV you can watch Reality TV and Jerry Springer but you can also watch educational programming, the news, films etc.
Is TV bad because someone can choose to watch nothing but Jerry Springer and Reality TV?
On Twitter you can follow Liberty, Amnesty, BBC Breaking, Professor Brian Cox, Neil DeGrasse Tyson...etc. If young people choose to follow nothing but their friends and banal celebrities and do nothing but spew shit, that's their business.

Do you think that Twitter can be made better? In terms of young teenagers that grow up now, Facebook is not much better but Twitter is fast paced and people don't put much thought into what they say. Also celebrity's are good for this, they can set bad examples on Twitter.
Now if you grow up in this environment you don't know much else.
