Got gifted Infestation: Survivor Stories (AKA War Z), any tips for a new player?

First step: Uninstall it.

Never play it.

Wow! Somebody must really hate you, gifting you that game.

The game ins't bad at all, it just have a small problem, the players =/
I've played for some time with friends, it's very fun and rewarding, till after hour or two getting your stiff started, you get your brain ventiled, and your friends also, usualy with not even knowing who/where did it =/ and so you lose all, restart from zero. >.<

I would totally recomend if there's PvE servers or if you're in renting your own server to play alone with your friends, but with randon animals it just lose the shine...

2. Run!!!!!

Play Day Z, or a Half-Life 2 Mod... Or even a Half-Life 1 Mod... Or go outside and fight real zombies, because by the time you finish reading all these replies of what you should do, the virus will have already invested a majority the nearby neighborhoods.

Did you even enjoyed the game even though its trash?

Well people can learn, but some don't look at EA they take one step forward and then 2 steps back.

This game isn't so bad as some people say. All you have to have is couple of friends with the game and, I promise, It will be fun to hunt down some players.

Don't trust anyone except your real friends! Never trust people which says they are friendly, in 90% of cases they lie!
This game is full trolling kids which kill even a freshly spawned players with empty inventory.

But be warned, mellee combat system is one of the worst i ever seen in videogame and zombies are too many everywhere and they spawning insanely fast. In combination with trolls and playerkillers everywhere, everything in shops is insanely expensive and fact that you can't use any vehicle it's really frustrating experience.

I can recommend this game only for groups of masochistic trolls, not for usual players.
