Weird as it may sound, the Hitman series is very close to my heart.
Also F.E.A.R. 1 and 2, Deus Ex 1 and Human Revolution, Okami, Mirror's Edge, Rayman 2, American McGee's Alice and I guess Metal Gear Solid 3, but I really don't feel like replaying MGS3. It's a great game, but I think my first and only playthrough was amazing enough :)

Not weird at all, it's also one of my fav franchises, the hours of fun and weird physics. man, I could play these games for hours, just forget that thing called Absolution (even if its a very cool game, it kills everything that made the Hitman games so replayable)

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. It was my very first game I ever bought on my own (this was back in 2002 and I used all my saving to get that game) and very first rpg game I ever played.
Before that I didn't even know there could be such a deep story behind a game and such realistic and powerful characters. I had never felt so close to any npcs but that game blew my mind in so many ways. I literally cried when one of my party members died.
No game has affected me so much as that game did and I'm thankful for finding it. I love all kinds of rpgs but this one has a very special place in my heart because it introduced me to a totally new genre of games.

What are some of the games that you hold most close to your heart? The ones that you will always love and can replay any time, and get upbeat and happy when thinking of the first time you played through it?
For me it's Barnyard..yep,the game based on the animated movie.I can't remember why I bought it,but I will never regret it,please take a look at this game,it's not what you would expect,it's a beautifull, free roaming game with mini games that are fun and alot of side content to do,also, the music is amazing
