What's the reasoning behind someone needing to be a member of SG for a year?

I would love to be part of this group, have tried in the past when I was just starting here, now I think I may fill the requirements, thanks in advance.

So you guys keep a total of 50 peeps - I kind of like that, small and intimate. Do you accept grl gamers? Well Momo gamers to be exact...grl passed me by quite a while ago. Anywho, I'm very active on GOG - just ask around but I'm very new to Steamgifts - there was a memory problem with my password but that's solved now ;-)

I've got two public GA's running now and one private one for GOG members. That being said, while I don't have $200SG, I do have over 130 games gifted since 2/1/13 - I might have a problem with gifting though very few would recommend that I get help with that!

So I'm looking to expand my connectivity to a few select Steam forums and WeCareAlot sounds like a friendly group. If you're interested in adding me, just let me know.
