Solved... and I think it's more fun to solve it without google, too :P it was not too hard anyway I think and it's a very nice idea, I love it - would definitely participate in another quiz of this kind even if I don't want to participate in the giveaways :)

I had to do that at 2 questions because I really didn't know and couldn't guess what's right, but that didn't take too much time of course, because well... as I said, 2 questions :p But basically, I think guessing when there are 4 answers and you have the chance to still do it kind of on your own, is more fun than just wiki / googling the answer :)

Really nice quiz and cool games, thank you for this Fnord.
But I have one question. Why did you call Charles XII "a controversial figure. Loved by Swedish neo-nazis"? I always had a lot of sympathy for him and considered him and his "drag nach osten" as sort of tragic and romantic. Isn't he one of the best kings and commanders that Sweden ever had?

Modern Swedish neo-nazis have made him a symbol of their own, and Nazi-rallies often happen around his statue in Stockholm.
Charles XII did very well in his early battles, winning battles that he should not have been able to win, but he also went to war with Russia and tried to get to Moscow, which failed miserably, and then he stayed in Turkey for a long time. When he finally got back to Sweden he continued his war-like behavior, but he did not do very well, losing to Denmark. His many wars were also very expensive, and the economy of Sweden suffered. Had he stopped after his early battles, where he managed to beat Denmark, Russia & Poland in quick succession (all were considered military superior to Sweden), he would probably have remembered as one of the greatest military leaders of all time, but the battle of Poltava was such a disaster that Sweden could not recover. His behavior in the Ottoman Empire (he was allied to them) made him seem rather immature.

National Socialists in Poland tend to make our national heroes, symbols of their own as well, but they are so irrelevant, I would never thought to mention them in description of one of our kings. As far as I know It is still easier to find e.g. a communist than a nazi in Sewden, so it just surprised me.
About the destruction after war, you should see what happened to Poland, most of the campaign took place in Commonwealth so entire country was so devastated we became Russia's semi-protectorate.
Anyway, thanks for reply.

I figured that it would be time for another one of these. All the GAs are level 1. Feel free to use whatever method you want to find the answers to these questions, just don't share the answers with anyone else. There are 5 games up for grabs this time around.

Just answer with the letter corresponding to the answer you think is right (so if you think it's A, just write A)
