When it says there's bonus content (in the video), does it mean that they've added some new stuff that's exclusive to this version, or is it just the bonus stuff from the PS2/Wii versions? This makes a big difference as to whether I get it.

When they say bonus content i at least want to think that they added some AI to that stupid blonde.

Will there be any plot differences between it and the regular version?

No. There has never been such in any of their other Resident Evil 4 ports.

Seriously. do the RE series have a plot? Those are great games, but plotwise ... is a zombie game. so i guess the plot dont really matter.

They have a rambling plot that is confusing as hell. Wesker is important, that much should be known.

Resident Evil 4 is definetly the best Resident Evil game. I've beaten it so many times and I still have it on my PS2, so maybe Ill skip it.

I always thought the 2nd game was the cornerstone of the series. The first game's non-linear mansion was not exploited properly; rooms and corridors looked similar and confusing. The 2nd game, however, allowed limited exploration of the game world....Raccoon City. The perception of the "gaming world" expanded with each passing release -- later games allowed players to choose different paths, in order to reach their targets. (in '98 RE2 gamers would goo-goo gaa-gaa over the incredible -but still limited- functionality of the gaming world. Nowadays people expect more)

RE4 shifted the game towards the 1st person camera view. Still pretty poor compared to its predecessor(s), my 5 cents.

The last Resident Evil game before they went full action. Finally I can get it. :>

Actually this is the first game that went full action. Try playing any game in the series before RE4, they're totally different.

The last version wasn't "high definition"?

Really?

Regardless of whether the actual game is any different from the vomit-inducing, FOV-locked original, the title positively reeks of meaningless marketing bullshit.

Besides, anyone releasing a PC game in the year 2014 which ISN'T "HD" should be beaten to a pulp with a rusty crowbar.

Back then, they hadn't released the HD releases on PS3 and 360, so now they need to use the HD title. :P

You know things are bad when even the game's title has been lazily ported across.

Guess we won't be seeing the "Resident Evil 4 PC Master Race Edition" (boasting a shiny new FOV slider for the weak of stomach) anytime soon?

;)

I still remember that trailer showing what looked like a blown up tiny screen from the old console version to look blurry as hell.

Meh. RE4 ruined the series. Give me PC releases of RE3 and Code Veronica. :(

3 was on PC, though the original release hates recent operating systems, while the Xplosiv release works on them but cut out any extra content (New Game Plus, Mercenaries and any unlocks).

In Resident Evil 4 they're not really zombies.

In virtually all popular media, "they're not really zombies".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie

"zombies" in RE4 are just as close to what a "zombie" actually is, as any others in pop fiction.
