I thought DR3 was the one that ruined the franchise.

Also, Nintendo releasing a half-assed console named Switch.

Which sells incredibly well, and has a launch game that's likely to be the most well received game of the year.

What? FFXV is one of the best games out last year. This year is being considered one of the best years in gaming with Resident Evil 7, Nioh, Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, Nier Automata, Breath of the Wild, and Persona.

Also, Dead Rising 4 was developed by a Canadian developer that is owned by Capcom.

You tend to forget all the mdeiocre games of yesteryears and that makes you think that there was a golden age when every game was a masterpiece.
