Buying this delicious looking one??
I just picked up Pony Island while it was on sale, but not a bad bundle for me.
I had the two in 3rd tier wishlisted and those two alone seem great for just $10 :-) Couldn't resist.

I'll buy T3 as soon as PayPal has fixed their issues...

Not a good bundle, but $1 for Shantae is good enough for me since that's the only game I was interested in.

It makes me sad to see so many people complaining about this bundle...
If I didn't own DOTT, I'd have all of them wishlisted.

Many people have weird opinions nowadays. There is just too much black and white thinking, many are not longer able to say 'good but not my taste'. I've only played Pony Island and DOTT so far, but these two alone are absolutely outstanding and worth getting.

Those two plus Shantae are the highlights for me.
I've played Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on 3DS and it's pretty great. Much better art than the first one and a great soundtrack.
Given how many people get excited about hidden object bundles, which I have no interest in (okay, except for hoarding), maybe we're just "wrong" ;)

Considering the facts that I value a quality game library with games I could imagine to actually play over a quantity game library and that I would even struggle to buy a '100 hidden object games for 1$' because I don't want to have these in my library, I don't want to hear anything about shitty cards, you are certainly 'right' that we seem to be somehow 'wrong' ^^.
And yes, Shantae is most probably a very good game which probably does not fit my taste however (too cute I guess, need to play Axiom Verge instead). Personally I'm waiting for the unrevealed games, Pony Island and DOTT I've bought already for much more money, VA-11 and Deadbolt seem to be decent, maybe there will be a wishlist game revealed which might lure me to buy the bundle nevertheless.

It's rather unlikelly - out of tens of bundles Humble ever offered only once situation happened when the bundle was featured on steam as well. Also Day of the Devs was kinda special bundle going together with actual real life-event "Day of the Devs" and steam bundle was made to support the same said event. Since this one does not come tied to any off-Humble real life event it's unlikelly for it to be featured on Steam, it looks like any usual normal humble-only bundle thus I wouldn't keep hopes for buyoing it for steam wallet money ;)
But you can always decide to wait toill the very last day of the bundle if you believe in possibility of it coming to steam ;)

idk what you mean, as I said the same ;p or maybe you wanted to respond to GotDayum ;p
like I said - it was a bundle that was not organised by HB but rather outside celebrtating/corresponding/name-it-whatever-you-want to real life event. Current bundle is purely HB organised that's why I said it's very unlikely to show on Steam ;)

Undertale for next week's reveal calling it now! :p fingers crossed
Comment has been collapsed.
even if I own it already would be great as it's awesome game, but I doubt it. Undertale is title big enough that they would rather put it in week one as it would alone boost them a lot of sales, titles revealed in week 2 are almost always less hyped titles than ones from base bundle, Undertale is arguably more hyped/wanted title than anything in current bundle ;p

Yeah you're right still I think it should be time to Undertale and Crypt of the Necrodancer to be bundled as both been 5$/3.75$ respectively, and they are both really great!
One a better Thought, Undertale+Crypt of the Necrodancer to next humble monthly early reveal (like they did almost a year ago this war of mine+south park)

Tier 1, and a 10% discount for humble monthly (sadly that's for new sub's only, or can existing subs get in on that somehow?)

Three wishlisted, three I own that were wishlisted, and one I like the looks of and will keep. The three I own will go to friends that I know want them. =3 $10 bundle bought!

Try checking a few gameplay videos - I can only speak for Pony Island and N++ (played previous parts)
Pony island is a game with simple controls, but most of the game is not "inside" the game - it's partially mystery, partially puzzle :) I don't want to be spoilery, as the game has quite a few ways of playing WITH you - it's quite an experience.
N++ is just a superb platformer game without checkpoints, shooting, doublejump and such - you can run and jump, and have to get through levels and worlds. The game's main aspect is managing your momentum, and aim your jumps. You can try N or N+ online to get a feel of it.

already check the gameplay. sorry, my english not so good, so maybe i can't make a question about what i want. let me try make it into some good sentence. "why many sg users give high appreciation and play time to mariobros-like game when this world have modern good and complex game". not like me that barely get 30 fps, and have to rest the laptop after every 3 hour, most of user here have cool mega super gaming cpu. i am the man of sarcasm, but this time is pure curious.
Cebause all my real life friend will never want to play game like in this bundle, when they can play modern game like The Divison. i just don't get it.
Im sorryif maybe my word are not good and making you feel insulted, you can blacklist me, but i need the reason. cebause it brings back childhood memory? cebause it simple?
Thank so much for answering, and have a nice day wherever you are^^

Why many sg users give high appreciation and play time to mariobros-like game when this world have modern good and complex game ?
Let's take a look at a few modern games... I for example LOVE the Assassins Creed Franchise for the incredible amount of content every game has and the attention to detail that went into it but even I can't deny that you're basically doing the same thing you've been doing since AC1 over and over again.
Since you mentioned the Division... I've played it a few hundred hours with 2 buddies before they lost interest and it's a good covershooter on a huge, stunningly beautiful map BUT it pretty much plays like every other covershooter I've seen + a lot of gear grinding and the endgame content = PVP was completly broken when I last touched it.
Same goes for Gears of War or Uncharted...
So while most modern games pretty much play like every other modern game small Indie Games (like Nom Nom Galaxy, Sheltered, Papers Please) ofter dare to try out new stuff and are more mechanic / gameplay based which can be really addicting.
Edit: Also even in richer countries there are plenty of people that don't have a 1000 - 1500$ PC. I for example tend to play AAA games on console (because I know they'll work there + lots of other reasons) and mostly Indiegames on PC.

First thing first, Thanks so much for answering (giving some minute of your time for me).
I mentioned The Division cause its a great example i think (small game with high rating VS big game with low rating)
I'm fully aware about the plenty of people thing. It's not the country, it is this community that make me curious. many of user tell their pc spec, and many of them have many new AAA title in their collection (which mean they have the rig that can run the AAA game), yet so many still spend most of the time playing small indie game.
seeing this three comment, my conclusion is :
People choose to spend time on small indie game cause sometimes the AAA title is like big beauty box, but empty inside, compared to small old box, that have gold inside. And why so many people on SG act like that, is because this community takes gaming activity deeper (the three of you are good example, having more than 1000 game is a solid proof). When you only do gaming activity at "Surface" level, the graphic will satisfy you enough.
Once again thanks so much, and do you mind if I create new discussion about this?

Not at all. I think it's an interesting topic and even if I did I'm not the (official) King of SteamGifts :D
What I forgot to mention in my first reply is that hating on big publishers or big games is also just fashionable nowadays.

Very nice analogy ;)

Well as far as I know we already have a Queen (Jekaterina) and an official SG pet (JoaoWho) so the King position should still be up for grabs :D I still have to make up my mind whom to appoint to my royal court but I promise I will be a benevolent king ;)

oh, new info for me.

"Modern games" aren't really more complex than "old Super Mario Bros". See No Man's Sky, it's 'modern' and has a high PR budget, but there is no actual gameplay in it.
Maybe Steamgifts in particularly has slightly more people who want to play "Mario Bros" than the average web community, but there are also 'normal' people who would rather play DEADBOLT than another Assassin's Creed or Watch Dogs or Call of Duty.
Out of curiosity, how old are you and your friends? That might play a role too.

It might be. I'm 21, so my friends around that number. Just never met that kind of "normal" person, or maybe im not deep enough to gaming society :p

P.S. Congratz for winning World Cup (an irony cause my country target is to be able to "participate" in World Cup), and may RB Leipzig not winning the trophy (since i hear many people in Germany don't like Leipzig, I make a wild guess you are one of them)
Comment has been collapsed.
Close enough -- I don't like people who don't like Leipzig. They say RB Leipzig is a 'disgrace to football' because the club is owned by a big corporation, but other clubs in many European countries are just as commercially oriented. A bit offtopic here.
On a related topics, Germans who like football/sports don't usually play a lot of videogames, and Germans who are the 'IT nerd' type don't like football. Maybe those stereotypes are a bit like "your friends like The Division, but they wouldn't play Pony Island". :>
P.S.: If you create a new thread about this in a subforum here, please give me a link so I can keep reading :)

I have a laptop from 2014 maybe - Skyrim mid, Mad Max or Dying light is unplayeable. So for me partially because indie games are okay with worse computer, and partially because I really love them. Why?
I born in 1990, and grown up playing civ 1, loved doom, the incredible machine, jazz jackrabbit 2, Captain Claw, revolt - in that times platformers and skill based games dominated the market, they were well-made and popular. It's a little retro feeling. I love a well-made pixelart (like Enter the Gungeon) or a nicely ~painted game (Dust: The Elysian Tail) compared to realistic graphics. AAA games went so much for action, big world, and lot of action that they often forget story, mood and variety. A lot of indie games try to fill up these holes in demand, and make similar, "outtimed" games - platformers, strategies, roguelikes, as these are not in the AAA market. I think quite a lot of users are at least at the same age as me - they've seen the older graphics and used to it so it's not a problem for a lot of them. A good game with old graphics is still a good game :)
Also I always loved to read - I have a proper fantasy to imagine and live through stories I read, maybe this is also a reason why I don't need good graphics. I always prefer a good book (with no graphics :) ) to a movie filled with explosions and action if the story is stupid.
So yes, partially childhood memory, but don't forget that most of us is an adult, we know if a game is shit or good. So while we like retro-things, we want to see quality retro stuff (A lot of indie games are just bad, all the unity horrors from GL, or the hundreds of retro-pixel platformers with bad controls and no idea behind it)
Also... there are ads for AAA games. People know those, while indies are kind of hidden, unless you know people playing them. Before coming to steam and later steamgifts, I was pirating games because I had no money. And I didn't even know about indies, all I went for Fallout 3, Oblivion, Jedi Knight and other more-known games. And now I just smile at myself, because I thought I'll always playing the newest, the BEST games - and now I'm a diehard fan of minimalist games with good story, pixel art, or just generally great gameplay. I love some AAA games, but platformers, RPGs and adventure games (both point and click and exploration-like ones) are the ones I enjoy the most, while still giving a try for as many interesting games as I can.
And no, I won't blacklist you at all, curiosity is a great thing! Never be afraid to ask people about stuff you're interested in or don't understand ^^

Noted. So i behave well in SG. I'm 21 lol.

Same here, maybe I'll take your path of indie games in the future :p

I don't mind if you make a topic about this at all :)
The beatiful but empty box vs small box with gold example is not bad IMO, but not every people feel like that. I would rather say that some people enjoy going to sport events, big parties because enjoy it being large and loud and so lively. Other people enjoy being with friends, go to a museum or play boardgames, and feel just as happy as the partygoers feel on their party. We just enjoy different things. Also one more thing: because of giveaways, bundle topics a lot of people know about a lot of games, and it's easier to find what you like if you know more about the selection. Like I thought back in the day that only AAA exists, people can realize here that there are different games that are cool in their own way, and there is nothing bad with liking them.
