Buying this delicious looking one??
Already own the games I want, and if I'd get anything for giveaways it would be the monthly because XCom 2. Guess I'll keep an eye out for next week's reveal

Just be aware that XCOM 2 is region locked. I usually buy the Monthlies for GAs but I'm considering pausing next month because I don't want to go through the trouble.

Of course I could but the amount of non-bundled games I have is limited and I'm soo close to reaching Lvl 9...
I don't want to activate it myself because I know I wouldn't play it for next years and I'm not even sure my PC could handle it and it would feel like a waste to activate it as a +1. On the other hand when they had Dragons Dogma, which was region restricted as well, other people claimed that it's quite difficult to sell region locked games plus whenever I try to trade I get reasonable offers like "6 Trading cards or Five Nights at Freddies for XCOM 2". I guess I could also do some direct gifting but I haven't really done that a lot yet and still not sure what's the best way to do it without it turning into a popularity contest.
Any options I overlooked ?

This bundle of well-reviewed games only contains two games on my wishlist. This bundle sucks! D:<
Seriously, it's downright silly how so many people seem to think "a bundle that isn't completely tailored to my particular tastes" = "trash bundle." Pony Island and VA-11 Hall-A have been on my wishlist for forever, and the other games look great too (already owned Day of the Tentacle Remastered, though). It's cool if the games aren't to your taste, god knows there are plenty of bundles that haven't been to my taste (see: Humble Survival Bundle), but that doesn't mean that it's objectively terrible. Especially if the reason you're not buying the bundle is because you already own the games...

T1 is awesome, with Shantae and Pony Island. I'm not familiar with Epic Fantasy Battle, but even if it's complete tripe, those other two games are easily worth the price of admission.
BTA - Day of the Tentacle is awesome, and even if it was bundled not long ago is still a steal at this price.
I'm not familiar with the rest of the games, but they look interesting, even if the T3 is not particularly my style.
Just because there aren't any big name AAA titles, that doesn't mean this isn't an overwhelmingly positive bundle

Yeah, I'm actually really impressed with this bundle (completely serious). I'm still going to wait until the mystery games are revealed next week to buy, just so I can activate all the codes at once. I have a big enough backlog that it's not a huge deal to put this off a few days.

If you had their other titles, it was $1.05 on the Steam store back in November. One third of a $6-ish BTA is thus too much for it. If it was in T3 and something else was in T2, that would be ok, but in the BTA it puts all the pressure on Deadbolt until the third title is revealed :)

Everything about this bundle "works" well so far so I have high expectations for next week's additions. I bought the BTA for $1 less than it is now, got another $0.5 for cards from the games I activated, traded Day of the Tentacle (which I owned) for Soul Axiom (which was in my top 20 wishlisted games). Happy camper here :-D

This is an awesome bundle. A bit annoyed I bought N++ and Shantae in the Christmas sale, but hell it's such a great bundle I'm going for T3 and will give the spares away

Шантай и пони стоят того... А выше уже не рентабельно. Вот бы еще самую новую шантай в какой нибудь бандл кинули даже за евриков 15 взял бы

Really curious about the secret game, DotT really makes me wanna get the Tier 2, but I think I'll let the reveal make that decision for me.
I can only recommend Tier 1 to everybody, great games with cards that'll get you like half your money back.

Hoping the reveals are good. I'm super tempted to get the top tier for VA-11 Hall-A but I keep debating it

BitBlaster XL and Refunct added. They couldn't find cheaper games could they? lol

Bit Blaster XL and Refunct. I don't remember hearing much about any of those. Opinions?
Comment has been collapsed.
Most laughably bad bonuses ever added. I mean you can literally buy the games cheaper on steam right now and a hell of a lot cheaper when they have been on sale.
Comment has been collapsed.
I usually take is as the fact that each game in the tier is equal in value espicially for use in splitting the bundle afterwards. So taking the current BTA $6.65 each game is worth (6.65-1)/4 = $1.41.
Bit blaster XL is currently available for $1 on steam and its lowest is $0.50. This is lower than the value of the game in the bundle by far.
Refunct is currently available for $2.99 and the lowest price is ~$1 therefore this game could have been bought cheaper.
Obviously every game in the bundle isn't of equal value but thats just one way to look at it.

Even if you want to calculate it this way (same parts for every game), it's not correct, since you're dividing by 4 instead of 7. At least I receive Tier 1 keys when I buy BTA.
And sorry, if you made up your purchase decision last week on high expectations/assumptions for the reveals, that's not Humblebundle's fault. Wanna buy mysterious keys from me for $1 each? :P
Comment has been collapsed.
Except for the fact that you get tier 1 keys for just paying $1 so thats why I subtracted $1 off the BTA amount. This is the way I always do it cause I often sell unwanted keys for fair prices in the group buys steam group.
And I didn't actually buy the bundle cause I own everything I want in that bundle that i'm interested in except N++ which I don't think is worth it just for that. But if I had I would have been extremely angry. I mean I know that humble usually don't add the best bonuses but this is a new low for them. It will put me off purchasing in advance in the future definitely.

Ah, here comes the trader. You notice that HB always states that the purchase should be for personal use only? I don't mean to state that trading would be bad or forbidden, I also trade keys. But these bundles aren't designed for trading, but for personal use. If you already own so many that it isn't worth it, then just don't buy it. Your fellow gamers with less games and probably less money to spend on games will still enjoy the offer.
So you think it's okay to e.g. only pay $0.34 for Shantae which historical low for Steam resellers before was at $9.99 before. Furthermore an influenceable part of the payment is going to charity. HumbleBundle invented this model. There wasn't such a thing before them (at least not at this quality level).
You take Tier 1 as already given. Did anyone else except of HumbleBundle offered this tier 1 at this price to you? No. Do you praise them for it? Or do you only blame them like here, since you expected more for the reveals?
People became used to and afterwards spoilt by the great HumbleBundles before and have too high expectations. If there weren't any bundles anymore, because they would want to focus on the store or whatever, people would shitstorm them. Just why? They aren't commited to make you any bundle offers. They aren't comitted to give you AAAs for almost free. But they still do.
Sorry, don't take it personally, you're only one of many I've already seen blaming HB for repeats, uPlay, indie games, pixel games etc. Or for not having reveals anymore. But it's still the best bundle site. And imho it's very unfair.

"Keys are for personal use only" yet humble provides gifts links for games you already own...
The thing is i've paid for the games which means they should be mine to do what I want with. What is the point of me paying for a game just to do absolutely nothing with a key because I either own the game or it's something i'm not interested in.
Now yes I could giveaway this game to another person. But what difference does it make if I give this game to someone else or sell it to someone else. It doesn't. Another person owns the game and a lost purchase is made either way. But that being said it's not a lost purchase cause I have paid the developer money.
The other thing is I don't trade to make a profit. I split the bundle with other people for a fair price that means neither me or the person i'm trading with is making a profit. I agree that people that try to make a profit off of humble bundle are horrible people.
Obviously if a developer chooses to put a game in a bundle they are ok with it being sold at the low prices so it was there choice. If they didn't want there game sold at low prices then they wouldn't have chose to put it in a bundle.
And the bit you say about me being spoilt by humble bundle. I've followed humble bundle for a few years now so I have expectations of what kind of things they usually put as bonuses in bundles. Therefore these games are not anywhere near as good or as good value as usual. That's why I thought it was strange and wasn't very happy about it.
And also the very last bit I am in no way blaming them or saying that is a bad bundle. All i'm saying is I don't want it and aren't interested in it. I am allowed to state my opinion about a bundle and I am allowed to have my choice whether to buy it. I don't get people that slam people for saying there opinion about something. Opinions don't have to be positive either and can be negative.
In the end of the day if a bundle has repeats I already own or games I am in no way interested in or games that are very badly reviewed i'm not going to buy it. That's all it comes down to really.

First off thanks for the detailed and more reasonable response. I also only stated my opinion. I'm all in for constructive criticism and I even understand that some people use the internet for venting.
Yes, developers/publishers decide if their games may be bundled. Nowadays they might even calculate this way of promotion in their very first pricing (like a sale, but furthermore folks buy games they wouldn't have bought solely). But there are still people who miss the two week period for a bundle and casual gamers who don't even know HumbleBundle yet. And if HumbleBundle didn't invent this model, would there be something similar? We can't know.
I've bought HumbleBundles since 2013, therefore I know about their quality earlier. But I also understand, why there aren't weekly bundles anymore, why reveals became seldom and why they can't keep that standard. I assume that they don't want to have too many repeats (just like us), so they depend on good new releases. Though the amount of releases still seems to rise, it's mostly Greenlight trash. And a few developers/publishers don't want to work together with them.
The first bundles were great, since they included AAAs and quality indies from the years before. But this opportunity is mostly gone. So what's the alternative idea?
When I was reading your first posting, this didn't appealed to me as "own already, repeats, not interesting for ME", but as "how dare they?". Plus the other way of calculation. That's just why I replied.

And here I was naively thinking we'd get nice adds because the BTA only had 2 games instead of the usual 3. Possibly their worst reveal ever.

Bit Blaster? Is this groupees, or Humble bundle. LOL

Bit Blaster XL?! Refunct?! Are they freaking serious? One has a base price of $0.99 and the other has been on sale for $0.99.
