SteamGifts Toxicity Level

One thing I've learned over the years is that every community has it's share of assholes. The ones on this site aren't too bad, or too numerous to ruin the fun.
I've also learned to just stay clear of "political" topics. Because at least on the internet those consistently devolve into shouting match shitfests.

There are seasons when certain users want bags of attention to their "causes", some others want to impose an ideological marxism and political correctness, some others say the others are wrong.

Besides that there are more things under the table, involving "local authorities", once you know how those stuff evolved, you lose some confidence on how this site works.

But site is one of the less toxic among others.

Well, anyway, maybe a random giveaway will make things better.

The truth is about some individuals being extremely toxic, like maybe there are around ten of them here. I obviously won't say names, but you probably know them yourself already. So they make this slight toxic level, while the community in general here is awesome.

PPL who won xxx GA and sent 0 GA, saying they're poor but posting a high end PC spec on their profile

I don't think it's toxic at all.
Are there people having a bad day at times? Yes. That's not really toxic, that's just random shit.
Are there insensitive people? Yes. Again, just random shit.
Are there really vicious, toxic people that do nothing but smear shit on all around them? Perhaps one or two, butthat's exactly what the BL-system is there for. And our Moderators with their ban/susp hammers.

TL:DR:
Have I ever had a bad moment on SG? Yes, but not really what could be called toxic in any way, shape or form.

I only met one person around here who was a jackass, but we mutually blacklisted each other, and he got suspended for 2 weeks after it because i think he tried to spread awareness about me (I had 0 gift sent by me back then)
Lots of people blacklist me because my win/give ratio and its break my heart every time the number goes up, im not sure if thats toxicity though, but im kinda afraid to talk freely around here because of it.

i dont know, i dont write to much on the forum, Time to time, i see people with a toxic comment, or fighting for nonsense, but its less than on other social medias.

You know what's really toxic? Dead By Daylight community.

The environment you are in can be extremely toxic but that does not mean you yourself have to be or anyone else. Some people tend to bend easily, its easier to follow chaos rather than stand tall on your own will against the others. No matter what I hope to be positive and cheerful. I tend to not reply to negative threads. Alot of time I read but do not reply because I just did a reply in mind and forgot about it then it got tiring and I go to bed! In general , I think SG is pretty good, I mean there's the occasional bad apple, but that's only to be expected.
People come in all shapes and form, so everywhere where there's people they'll be a certain amount of "dramas".
When you take everything into account and compare it to other internet site, SG is a great place where for the most part people are pretty nice.
I like it here and I really don't think it's toxic, I met a lot of awesome and kind people here and I'm happy to be part of it <3
