Probably you wanted to reply faragona and not me.
But gmg hasn't destroyed the credit system?
I'm not using their site for months, so I don't know.

All credit has expired now. You had to link your Steam to Playfire and play the game for the first time to get $1 in Playfire rewards/GMG credit.

I'm talking about being able to buy the game for a $1 didn't even know about that other rewards thing

Oh darn. Yeah, they emailed out the coupons pretty much right away. You had to use the same email as your GMG account or something and it should have came automatically. Their instructions weren't terribly clear though.

Great games, but for this price? This is not great deal

Lowest Recorded Prices:
Civ V: $4.24 (bundled, BTA)
Bioshock Infinite: $1 (With $1 GMG credit on purchase)
Borderlands 2: $2.99 (Gamestop store) $3.39 (GMG) (Or bundled in Humble Bundle with DLC for about twice that.)
Star Wars KOTOR: $1 (bundled, tier 1)

Total: 9.23 or 9.63 (with -1$ credit)

:P
The main issue isn't whether this is valid pricing or not, but whether it's appealing to anyone that has gotten any of the games before, given the disparity in pricing, especially if wanting just a portion of the games.

Civ V has been free on GMG. :P

Forgot about that. Same premise as Bioshock, or totally free?

As free as XCOM was.

I've never gotten any AAA game 'free' other than Bioshock, so that means nothing to me.

Hmmm... well, you go vote for some games, come back to GMG and there's a key waiting for you, no purchase involved. That's how free Civ V and XCOM Enemy Unknown were.

…and it also kinda-sorta was totally out of lore. And continuity. It wasn't exactly Black Isle's/Trokia's/Obsidian's proudest moments.
But at least it didn't crash every three minutes like most of their games. :D

Well… talk about overpricing. A lot.
I mean I know you can rely on an Apple user eating expensive shit up just because it is associated with that company, but surely, even they have their limits, right?
