Well, when steam sale starts, I guess I will no longer need it.. I've been spending the money I was saving for the sale in games that are on my wishlist, and with even better prices, since I've been paying in $USD instead of that nicely non existing conversion between $ and €. Next sale, steam better fix that, and start the sale sooner that everybody else xD

Yeeey 50 keys or something, really insane price for that. Never got interested in that game, neither am I really interested in the newest Wolfenstein (New Order) but... We'll see if it lives up to the great ol' games, we'll see.

yea but it will be more expensive than 15 bucks (i guess) and arma2 (complete) comes with some dlcs and tons of other gamemodes (and of cause the normal arma2 game xD) which means more content for less money. the dayz standalone will be based on the arma2 engine, so it is not that different from arma2dayz mod. i heard there is also a dayz port to arma3 so it is using the arma3 engine (requires the arma3 basegame) which graphics are really awesome. will see if it works :)

i hope it wont be so like that :D if it becomes a ghost town i can still play with friends but actually it is a pvp mod. will see what happens, arma2 is still a decent game :)

Dayz is basically on it's own engines, since it is technically an MMO.

nope dayz uses the Real Virtuality 3 engine which is used by arma2. the engine has nothing to do with the genre of a game

To be fair the standalone was officially supposed to be released by the end of 2012 and 6 months later it's still not here, if I were that guy I wouldn't hold my breath at this point.
