It's super slow to get there, kind of trying to climb the Everest. I'm currently at 9.41 (I was at 9.42 yesterday ? Maybe one game went into free or bundled territory ?) and it feels like it's getting harder XD !
Did you check if you pass the ratio ? I set it to 0.9 since a little while now ^^

I don't! My ratio is down to a shameful .69 (o-0) now since I have lucked out with a few great wins and I'm doing way fewer GAs the past year with no work but I'll get back up there eventually.
tbh, I'm trying not to think about CV, ratio and level and just making GAs to give back while I chip away at my backlog joyfully because I don't need more things to pointlessly obsess about and make myself anxious over.

Honestly that level 10 thing is more a way to have some giveaway made regularly than anything else. I just like it when I have that one person among the winners who really have fun with a game and are happy about it ^^
Also the higher you climb, the less air you have :D !

Oh I know you're just using that as an excuse for a thread of lovely GAs. And it's a good thing that people can see SG's leveling as a kind of game in itself. We are gamers after all ;)
I just try not to get invested in it myself because of pre-existing anxiety issues and efforts not to trigger myself when I already have way more than enough to go nuts over.
I'm sure you'll get enough air up there. After all you are bringing a breath of fresh air to the rariefied level 10 ;)

This is a reminder that I check every single entry and if you are getting the link via another mean, it is very easy to check. Today, the winner of my GA had 26 game given for 102 won which can only be considered as suspicious as the rules are set properly and we have the possibility to check who joined the giveaway not following the rules set on SGTools.
Here is an example of what it shows when someone joins a giveaway with an invalid entry . The only thing you're causing is for me to get even more disappointed, disgusted even by the behavior of the people here.
I guess that the one who cheat and those who are giving them those link see that as something normal but honestly, what is the point in setting rules, going through the annoying and slow process of setting those one by one on SGTools if one of those people leak the link to others or maybe use it for their second account ?
I'm going to check every single past giveaway I did and the next ones as well and will report every single offender as this shouldn't happen and be punished accordingly.
I have made a lot of future giveaway and will probably stop and find another way for the next ones.

Following simples rules such as clicking on a link, accepting that you cannot join is too hard for some of the users here and I'm seriously tired to be disappointed every time I try something. I understand the other users who stop making events and puzzles for the same reason. I'm tired to give my time and money for people who deserve none of those.

Second I have to tell you, that until recently I have been able to pass the rule-checks to your giveaways.. I´ve been following the thread since you created it, but never entered a giveaway because I either already owned the game or had no interest in it. Out of curiosity I still tried here and there just to see where I stand and whether I could participate. I´ll leave short comments in some of the GAs as proof ..
Today is the first time I could not pass the rule-check anymore!
So I have to assume you changed something, iirc it is the last check for sent/received ratio and multiple wins. Before that, I believe, you only asked for value ratio, which I easily passed. Same as the winner of your giveaway you´re accusing here.
Maybe that person just entered the GA before you implemented the change ?? Just a little food for thought ..
Anyway, as I can´t partake anymore I won´t come around any longer but thank you for your generosity and GL for the rest of the way ..

I posted the proof that this person didn't get the link via SGTools as you can track who gets the link and this person comes as an invalid entry, aka having gotten the link by someone else.. Before accusing me of anything, please, check the proof which I already posted on the previous message and you didn't click on.

Those people have been reported to SGTools and I guess have been either suspended or banned, I wish there was a way to find the one who gave them the links.
I added the last win a few days ago already, and there is a post on the previous page explaining what I did, AKA setting the last multiple win before 2018 which allows MORE people to participate as I already explained on that previous post.
I added raw ratio as rule as my intent was to have people giving more games than receiving since the beginning, I made a mistake and corrected it, that's why you cannot join the new giveaway and could join the previous ones. I will possibly write off that rule, I don't know yet.
I have spent a lot of time around here to be disappointed by people behavior. I decided to make that whole topic to reward those who take the time to make some giveaways for others and while I do understand that not everybody can do such a thing, it's exactly like trying to join a group, not everybody can do so as it depends at times on your ratio and your will to give things.
If you want to blame someone for what is happening, blame those who cheated to get the links and the unknown persons who leaked said links.

I never did anything of that sort, I created my links with SGTools and set them at first at ratio 1, no VAC ban, no multiple win, all win activated. Rather than accusing me of tricking you (for what reason, I have no idea), maybe try to remember where you got the links, getting where were those links leaked those is more important to me than fighting with you.

I know exactly where I got the link, from your original post.
When you posted the sgtool links, I went past them and bookmarked the giveaway to join it when it was running. If you earlier posted an sgtool link that we used and later made a new one, everyone that used the first one would get a false entry. I don't think you did that on purpose, but that is the only explanation I can think of.

I didn't do that, the only double was mice which I didn't use and thought I actually had deleted, this one has 13 invalid entries and you're also part of those. If I did what you're accusing me off, all the giveaways would look like that one, which isn't the case.

I have no idea about your reasons, but I had no reason not to go through the links you posted on this topic.
I have never gotten any links to any giveaways on here from anyone, except from S.Gifts discord. So I'm 100% sure that I haven't entered those giveaways from anywhere else then links you have provided.
I already asked knsys to take a look here. Don't know about anyone else you posted, but I know I'm not in fault here.

It's been a while I'm thinking of doing something like that for multiple reasons, the first one is because I'm stalling at 9.3X since forever and as time passes I feel less and less inclined to do some public giveaways yet wanting to still give to people who have a positive ratio and do some giveaway regularly. I just want to offer games as a thank you to all those who are keeping that website alive and not just taking advantage of it.
Don't forget to bump from time to time or I'll stop making giveaways.
