Cave Story Plus or Monster Loves You

Cave Story - really great game! :D

I've never played Monster Loves You, but Cave Story is awesome, so I vote for that (even though I've got it already).

Monster Loves You! is a very shallow (but fun) text based game. There isn't a whole lot of substance, and play throughs are typically shorter than an hour. Cave Story+ offers a greater experience imho with a deeper story and infinitely deeper gameplay.

Edit: didn't read the entirety of the thing. If this is for a giveaway, do Monster Loves You! since everyone who wants Cave Story prolly owns it at this point

Cave Story+

Most of the people will vote for MLY, 'cause they don't have it and want it for only the trading cards, I rly doubt, it's actually any good game, however Cave Story + is a wonderful, great game, with 3-4-ish possible ending, tons of fun and one of the best indie platform I played on steam. :)

I already have Cave Story... but I still vote for Cave Story.

It's a much better game and, unlike Monster Loves You, there's a chance people actually want to play the game instead of just get the Steam cards it gives you.

If you need a simple short story to fill time, then go with Monster Loves You. Yeah it's just a simple choose your own adventure, but it has charm and is incredibly cute and quirky. The cost ratio per hour played is nowhere to anything good, but I very much enjoyed my time with it. Also, trading cards if you care.

Cave Story also has a really good story in it, and gives you way way more time for what you are paying for. It can be old school punishing at times, but it gives you fair warning before it throws you into the pit of despair. It has a lot of extra bells and whistles on it with the re-release, so if you want something a little more substantial, I would choose this.
