Twitter/facebook still has to be done manually, right?

I know twitter can be automated because this script https://github.com/Tackyou/Gleam.io-Autosolve seems to automate follows on twitter (doesn't do unfollows though) and Facebook entries seems to be mostly just going to the link (every time it ever asked me to like something on Facebook I never had to and it still went through as it being complete after at least clicking the link to go to facebook)

Oh yeah, getting it to auto-follow would be pretty simple, but for me to add it to the script I'd also want it to then auto-unfollow, which may be more difficult. The Gleam.io Twitter requirements are already quick and easy enough to enter that I'm not sure you really need a script to auto-complete them. It's all that tedious uncompleting that I'm interested in addressing.

is there a way you could grab the links from the page (since they are visible anyways) and have the script go to that page in a hidden iframe like it does with steam groups and have it just click the follow/unfollow button since just clicking the thing for the twitter follower ones auto-follows anyways so it would just need to go to the link afterwords and click the button to unfollow.
or if it can't grab the links, then make it grab the @name part off the page without it somehow grabbing the @ of it and making it go the twitter page that way some how.

A lot of sites will block or limit you from opening them in an iframe, and Twitter appears to be one of them.
It's definitely possible if I resort to using pop-ups, or if I design this as a browser extension instead of a userscript, but neither of those are things I want to do.

Ah well darn didn't think of that, and didn't know twitter blocks/limits you from opening them in an iframe. Hopefully you'll be able to figure out something to automate the unfollow for twitter eventually. Would be nice to be able to get it to the point that it automates pretty much every part of the giveaway stuff.

While this is great, they giveaway creator has every right to disqualify your entry if he/she finds out it's invalid. For example, if the entry you got by subscribing to a youtube channel is the winning one, the giveaway creator can check the list of subscribers. If the winner is not one of them, the creator can disqualify the entry. Same goes with steam groups joining and twich following.
So I suggest at least leave it as an option so the users of the script can choose to subscribe/join group/follow channel and stay or leave after the entry has been gained.

I rarely see Gleam.io Raffles posted here and so I wasn't really expecting the feedback on them. Raffles are a different beast, because, as you said, you can be disqualified for using something like this.
I'm not going to add an option to prevent the script from undoing any of the social media requirements it automates. To do that would make users of the script vulnerable to various forms of abuse. Instead what I'm considering is to just disable the script on Gleam.io Raffle pages.

Can you also consider giving an option to not to re-tweet something.
Joining groups or following someone is okay for me but i really prefer not to re-tweet something
(but it might also make users of the script vulnerable to various forms of abuse)
By the way, great work.
Thank you

The irony is, since I've installed this, I haven't seen a single gleam giveaway.

Maybe this tool was made with good intentions, but it is going to help mostly the people with a LOT of alt accounts. Without it giveaways could last 30 minutes with it I doubt they will last 5...

https://github.com/Tackyou/Gleam.io-Autosolve/issues/11 - autoscripts are against gleam.io TOS, you can get account ban, just for your info (1 month old discussion).

I go into detail regarding risks in the updated OP.
That script you linked to however is unrelated to this one. Tackyou's script isn't as complete as this one, and there's a few things going on there that I feel could lead to an easy detection.

It will always will come with that risk.
Personally I've been using Gleam.solver on the same account for over a month now without issue. I'm not aware of anyone else being banned recently either. My ISP though makes it very easy to change my IP address, and so being banned is never really much of an issue.

Edit: Previous versions of this post included links to a Gleam auto-solver script. I'm no longer supporting that script and I don't recommend that anyone use it.
