Make sure you have newest browser version. Check if your javascript is enabled in the browser and disable all plugins. If still doesn't work try to clear cache & cookies. Maybe you have unstable connection too.

did everything you listed here, tried with Chrome and Firefox, still getting an error, also reCAPTCHA seems to work on other sites.

had same problem. if you still havent got the key yet.
some guy mentioned changing the region to Latin America. worked for me.
