Is it crazy to cheer for a 3D hologramm of an anime girl who's using sound software to sing?
I'd rather see an actually Japanese girl band dancing around on stage honestly.

Some I've kind of liked, i'm not big on Jpop, or Kpop
Japanese

Japanese, This one's kind of funny, and I liked the Inital D arcade game.

I'd mostly prefer, and actual girl band because I'd rather watch cute Asian girls dancing on stage. Best sounding anime singer in my opinion was Ol'ga Yakovleva, and she was actually russian, so.....

Asian music in general is not really my thing, but if I'm going to listen there should definitely be a bunch of cute Asian girls dancing in unison.
Not a creepy look hologram, that seem to only be capable of limited mouth movement. I'd be kind of embarrassed to be part of the band, at least they are making good money. XD

The modern world and its tastes tend to scare me sometimes.

Funny how cartoons like this can stay at the age of 16 for 11+ years...

guess i have different taste, i just cant understand why is it good to watch a concert of an animated girl, its literally same watching the TV!
iam not a fan of getting to concerts tho, but i guess i would visit theirs:

too bad since i found them on youtube they not had any concert in Europe, only in US (not sure they ever had any in Europe at all tho.)

I'm totally fan of that but paying to watch pre-recorded segments being played on the stage is like paying $90 for a ticket at the cinema. Better to just play the VR game.

This is seriously something people find.. attractive? I really have a hard time understanding this. The music seems generic and for me at least totally boring (or even annoying). And the anime girl just looks silly. ^^ Well, whatever floats your boat.

Ever since holographic Tupac became a thing, I think being a fan of a hologram is fair game.

Her songs are counted to more than 100,000 according to the official website, although most of them are composed/arranged by different amateurs. So most of them sound trashy but it's possible some of them perfectly fit your taste. It's how she has spread online by the power of number.

I listen to Metal, so I really doubt that. ^^

Metal is one of the weakest genres of her, but you can check Utsu-P's channel at least.
I don't say her songs are superior to others. It's like comparing junk food to traditional cuisine. And I sometimes want to eat junk food over others.

I can'tlisten to it right now (at work). Have to do it later. But I can already guarantee that I won't find anything I like there. If she does Metal, that probably doesn't mean real Metal, it means Nu Metal or whatever. Some modern stuff, which I really don't care about asnd wouldn't care about if it was a real band. I will check out your link, but I think I already know more or less what awaits me there. ;)

In a way it is weird but then I remember that people go to see DJ's who don't really do anything, so at least there's more entertainment quality in seeing holographic singer than a DJ at least. And people look like they are having a blast in the concerts just as much as any regular raver, so why not. I personally wouldn't pay to attend but if I ever received a ticket for free I would rather check the concert out than sell the ticket forward, grow my weeb rep a bit. :D Out of curiosity I had to check out how much the tickets were and I'm just amazed how the VIP ones have already sold out!

Ah okay, that explains it. I imagine those sort of gifts are very unique and a must-have for big time fans. Maybe these upcoming concerts will prove Miku's popularity in Europe as well and they'll do more concert so you can get a VIP gift next time around. ;D

I'm following her for years and it's surprising to see her continuous activity. I hear serious rumor of her featuring in 2020 Tokyo Olympics as there's no Japanese musical artist who is known as much as this weird anime fictional singer in the world.

Nope, but I've been to a live viewing in a movie theater in Japan. It's a substitute for unlucky fans who couldn't get the concert ticket or couldn't go to the concert but you can see the clearer view of the concert as it is recorded and published in forms of DVD etc.
It was a new experience I'd never come across in other concert. You know, it's fake but it's not fake at that time. You can feel the virtual existence.
If you go to the concert in person, maybe you can't see the clear view nor hear the clear voice of her unless you get the front seat, but they say it was totally worth being there even if they couldn't recognize her figure. To enjoy, you'd better know some of her famous songs with the lyrics if possible. Good luck!

A few years ago I would have been totally pumped to go to her concert, but now I don't even know any of her recent songs.
Any info of what the tracklist will be?

Just wanted to let you fine people know, maybe someone here is also interested :)
That's how a live concert of a virtual anime girl looks like!
