Lol, that thing with GTA and ARK, did you really think it would end well ?

Once you have been discovered, you get reported and suspended.

Look. Or you can check manually of course. But I think most people who check their winners (you can ask for a reroll if a winner has not activated games) just have this addon.

Because they post in the forum to know if they can give a game they won to a friend, for example.

blacklisted for the fake whitelist AAA ga's. Sorry bud, doing it like that nets you no CV anyway.

Why? Did your friend Akemble01 win your Ark and GTA V by accident and doesn't want them?
Fine, I guess in this special case everyone will agree to make an exception so that your friend Akemble01 can create new giveaways for these two games. But this time he should make them public, so it won't happen to them what happened to your Dying Light giveaway.

Well they tried to cheat but failed at that as each one had only 1 entry and it needs 10 to get CV does it not?
Also why would they post this,at first i thought might be a puzzle post or some kinda of troll, but it seems they felt the need to call themselves out by posting this.
I do not get why they would even ask this,do people not even have common sense to think if you win something on a site like this that someone is giving you that at the least you would not be allowed to re-gift shrugs
Also i am still not sure if this is a puzzle lol.....hmmm

You can give the same game alright, but not the same copy. The copy you've won has to be activated on your account, period.
Like, for example, you win a giveaway for a game, activate it and sometime later make a giveaway for the same game but bought/acquired separately, that's fine and all.

Won gifts should be activated to the Steam account used during registration, and they should not be regifted, traded, or sold.

Not to mention that both have been marked as received but don't exist on that account...

You accept the first and request that any others choose a new winner.

Hmm, you're right. But maybe that's where these two fellas came from in the first place and can't get back? And now they're only still figuring out how our world works. Because in their world it's common sense that whenever you try some silly scam, you post about it on the relating forums immediately afterwards to get busted. :D

Oh, now I feel terrible, I made puns out of his (their) homelands :(
I can't imagine how lost he is with all the rules upside down, we must look so weird to his eyes not scamming people, double accounting or not regifting!
We should find the portal from where they came from!

If you win a GA you must activate that game.
If you win a GA and enjoy the game and wish to purchase another copy to give away then you may do so.
You must use the Gift/Key you won for your account, but you may provide an alternative Gift/Key as your own GA if you wish to pay it forward.

If you look at this persons giveaways you will see that they gave away GTA V and ARK: Survival Evolved as whitelist giveaways, but it's funny that the only person on this persons whitelist is somebody who registered a day ago. When I looked at the winners steam account they haven't activated their two wins but have marked them both as received.
So either the winner isn't activating their gifts or something fishy is going on.
I'm not calling anybody out here, but I think we all know what's up.

It's pretty obvious, he was probably calling himself out by making the thread. It's a multi-account scam, but not even successful because you need 5 entries to get cv. Also the 2nd account doesn't have the won games in account. So no CV and a banned alt account soon. Poor strategy is poor.

No I dont think its a multi account scam. That account probably belongs to his friend due to the hours played on that account. Anyways it didnt work as it wasnt counted and his friend needs to mark it as not received or else will be suspended.
Another support its not multi account - the last whitelist giveaway has 0 entries so his friend didnt join.

That's probably the best outcome for him. If it's not multi-account than he can just mark not-received and nobody will get punished. The system is working as intended :)

Actually in this case they will both get suspended permanently because it's misuse of giveaway feedback.

Depends on what you mean,
Giveaway the copy of the game that you won?
Against the rules.
Giveaway a game that you have already won?
Legal.

This is from Guidelines (http://www.steamgifts.com/about/guidelines)
Winning
Won gifts should be activated to the Steam account used during registration, and they should not be regifted, traded, or sold.
So, no, you cannot give away a game won here.
