Yeah, I know it's kind of a longshot ;) Guess it's a mix of multiple reasons:
a) I recently played it and enjoyed it a lot.
b) While the writing in the whole game is amazing the first sentences particularly stuck to my mind.
c) This event uses self interest to motivate people to do something (a very powerful technique) so that's how gambling came to mind.
I guess making an 80 Days gib would have made more sense but I only had that idea halfway through creating the GA and also eventhough the game is great it would feel like I'm putting up one of the cheapest choices just to throw my hat into the ring.
Also I'm not entirely sure if I bought more than one copy ;)

I bought it twice, only i bougth a second copy for my tablet. I end up playing that one over steams.

I haven't checked yet. I'm still using an ancient Galaxy S3 and although the phone itself is a real keeper it was giving me a lot of battery trouble recently until I got a new battery a few weeks ago. So I haven't been playing on it since Sorcery! 2 a few month ago (which I still have to finish) :)

He seemed vaguely familiar but I couldn't put my finger on who your avatar was neither until you just posted a GIF of him. Which is weird because he's even in one of my absolute favourite movies, True Romance (and he has such a badass scene together with Clarance's dad). Guess I've never seen him as pixel art before :D

I guess he never saw himself as pixelart before. Chris is my favorite under apreciated/under hired actor. He is liked to loved, well know, have an academy award... but his into far less movies then he should with too many questionable movies and appearences because it seens holywood only remembers him for his walken performances (being almost himself on screen with his humor) - leaving aside his great acting skills and multi-talents (like dancing and singing- heck he probably doesn't even sing anymore). Another favorite under appreciated of mine, Steve Buscemi, at least get more varied roles.
At least it seens he made his peace with this for 1 or 2 decades and just enjoys having fun with shallow roles. But damn i wish he got another major dramatic role. Soon he won't be around anymore
PS: and goddamit george lucas and harrison ford. Lucas opted for Harrison as Han Solo over Walken (amongst the reasons certainly a lower paycheck with SW1 overbudget) just so Harrison starts under valuating the role and the films soon after. This should be a crime. harrison would be more then happy with Indiana and Blade Runner wich he enjoys way more...

Yeah, most of the time he gets cast as a slick gangster or Mafiosi which is indeed a bit sad that he doesn't get to show his full repertoire. I didn't even know he could dance so well before I saw that Fatboy Slim video. And this is the first time I hear about the singing.
Since you mentioned Steve Buscemi... In the recent years with the rise of high quality TV shows (mostly with bleed-through storylines) quite a few actors you didn't see as often before had rather big comebacks. I could definitely see that for him as well, just hopefully not in the crime genre this time :D
I didn't even know he was up for consideration as Han Solo :D I'm sure my buddies will love to hear about that. It still gives everybody a good chuckle everytime Tom Selleck as Indiana Smith gets mentioned :D

Accidental. It was obvious when I refreshed the page, but I didn't get it corrected before you loaded your copy of the page.
I get asked whether I'm dyslexic a surprising amount for someone who, according to tests, isn't. Now that I think about it, I can usually figure out the newspaper's Jumble puzzles at a glance, so maybe I am, but I'm just good at taking dyslexia tests.... :)
