Nothing is going to kill their plans for getting our money for as little work on their end as possible. They know their shit doesn't sell, so they want to sue us for every cent instead, but need excuses to do so.

Considering the backlash they it had last time they attempted to push it through..
I really do not think this will make it through, and if they try to put it in regardless of the amount of people that are against it. Expect a much bigger backlash than people just being upset and denouncing those who support it.

They don't care about backlash. They care about money.

If its passed, I guarantee the backlash would be more than harsh words, and it will end up being more costly than they would want as well. A lot of people are already close to the breaking point with the government as is.

The companies that have been pushing for this stuff really don't give a damn. They simply want more options and excuses to sue people. After all, that gets them more money than sales of the latest crap music CD, DVD or video game. Because making quality stuff that does sell is much too hard.

All it will take is for us to lose interest and not complain about it because they keep bringing it up so much and the idiots in charge that do not understand how all this works will pass it through. In a way, they're geniuses for knowing that.

Looks like Big Heads decided streaming became new way of pirating. So, they want to make it a felony if you stream any kind of copyrighted material.
Well, there's a bit of good news in this. "That could be bad news for people like Bieber, who first won fame in part through YouTube videos of his performances of popular R&B covers"
