It's been a long time, but I finally upgraded my internet yesterday. For the last few years, I was paying for what was supposed to be decent, but the best I ever got was around 14 Mb/s. (Delta was nice enough to point out that I was getting ripped off.) Most of the time it was closer to 4 Mb/s even though I was paying for 12 Mb/s. Well, slow speeds no longer!

Here's a couple of tests I've run since upgrading.
Test 1
Test 2

As you would imagine, I've very happy with my new service and excited, so what better way to celebrate than with my fellow SGers?

Anyway, here's a small giveaway in celebration.

Deutsche Telekom huh?

But But....
Comcast tried to manipulate the net neutrality battle in favour of big corporations. They made Netflix slower so that they had to pay to get equal bandwidth as other sponsored ones. They are truly evil. They need to be shut down imo

Damn you, Draconis. I'm on a 15/5 plan (and hit those speeds), but now you're tempting me to upgrade my service to the 50/25 tier, even though I don't need it, because it's only $5 more per month. Grrr!

Seriously though, congrats and thank you so much! :D

Was paying 6.5€ for 100 Mb/s which I changed to 12€ for 1Gb/s speed, and I'm really happy with it, problem is my PC is not the recommended setup for that speed, which is:

  • Procesor: Intel I7 2,2Ghz (4 CORE)
  • Hard Disk: SSD

I'm closer to the 500 Mb/s recommended specs by the company that's why I'm not getting higher speeds:

  • Procesor: Intel I5 2,5Ghz (2 CORE)
  • Hard Disk: SATA 3 - 7200RPM
