We should totally forget all the bad things EA have done! Afterall, we wouldn't EA to think they can do something bad to see if they can get away with it, and then not do it anymore, and everyone won't come running back like nothing ever happened!

So are you saying that 1000 years ago your ancestor killed someone and therefore you and your family are pure evil?
Food for thought.
There is no problem with Origin. Origin does not suck at all and has much better customer service than Steam. The only reason people have to hate on Origin is just that others are doing it.

It's obviously not Source 1 and Source 2 hasn't been released. Also the Source engine is made in a way that it can be heavily modified to do what you want. CSGO, L4D2, Portal 2 all run off Source, but a different version of source.

even Dota2 runs Source Engine which I find rather incredible! :-D

But EA is huge. I would think somewhere along the way they picked up their own engine. Hell, they could make an engine from some middle tech/framework/something. Plus, using Source in a commercial setting gives royalties/license fees to Valve. EA is big enough that it probably doesn't want to do that.

I'd never invade another country on behalf of a tyrranical Nazi regime.
Well, not unless the uniforms looked good, and we got to march around a lot...

I know a lot of people hate on Origin for no reason but I've had numerous legitimate problems with it.
Needless to say, I don't go out of my way to buy games on Origin.

Personally I'd prefer it to be on Steam as steam is way bigger and is more of a "standard" and it'd be nice if there was just one platform with all your games on it.
However, Origin is okay. It may not have all those funcions, but if you treat it like just a launcher and a store - it works.
And also, as many people say, the customer support is fair and very nice.
tl;dr I would prefer steam but origin is okay too

I enjoy Steam because of the features it has and the fact that everything is in one place. I like Origin for the fact that it works and that their customer service doesn't suck balls and the fact that they offer a full 30 day refund. That's pretty beast if you ask me.

Origin really isn't that bad as people say it is, EA however...

I think the majority of people just prefer to have most of their games in a single library. Also the steam UI is superior imo. Origin support is actually a lot better than steam's support and with their new refund policy it is quite appealing.
There are games I will buy that require origin but Titanfall is not one of them.

I just want the game to work. As long as I dont have to wait three months for the bugs to be fixed, I dont care what it comes out on lol

You know what my problem is with Origin!? ...Hold on, I have to find out what everybody is thinking before I get back to you but I'm sure it has something to do with EA or that the service is in some way like how Steam used to be. Grrr DRM... ok, I just checked, yeah, I hate it because I'm supposed to. 1337gamers 4 life and currently blazing it, am I right, guys?
Get over it, kids.

It's okay, it's from the Call of Duty guys. It'll just be a massive disappointment just like all of the other ones.

You could pre-order Titanfall since months for Origin......I thought everyone knows it. If it's Origin this means stupid DRM and stupid method joining servers like for Battlefield 3 always on browser window, even for single player, it's not bothering me because my PC is powerful, but it's stupid, also this means greedy EA will give us very expensive prices and bad sales, and practically no different custom mode servers like on other source games. Anyways I'm not fan of this types of games, so I won't buy it, but better if Titanfall was for Steam because of source engine.

No, it isn't. Steam has DRM available and a lot of games use it but it isn't required that publishers use it and there are quite a few games on Steam that are DRM free.

+1 Valve games aren't on Origin or Uplay, so EA games and Ubisoft games don't need to be on Steam.

Yeah I know that EA is the publisher. I was hoping that it will also be on steam since the source engine was used for this game.

EDIT: I personally have no problems with Origin, just saying that I think it should be on Steam too since the source engine was made by Valve.
