Quite a few times but the hard squares always get conquered first because they give more XP and sometimes it can happen that all planets are about to be conquered at the same time and there are no hard squares left on any of them. But most of the time the planets don't get conquered simulaniously so when there are no hard squares left leave your planet and check if there are freshly spawned planets.
I hadn't done the script route, and wanted to know if I could handle the hard difficulty using the click and powers (mainly the powers). Makes sense....
I think once you get most of your powers, specially the black hole @ lvl 7, Hard gets doable pretty easily. It also seems to be a bit random or depending on planet. I've had a few games on Hard that were a breeze and others where seemingly much more bosses spawned or they came at me much quicker and they managed to damage the base several times.
There's a new planet unlocked now and HOOOOLLLLYYY MOLLLLY THEY MOVE FAST!
I expected to see the "boss" aliens from the cards...not super duper fast moving soldiers :O
