So i tried to contact the winner but nothing i decided to write on his profile and after few hours i got a community ban which will end on 2038. Is there any way to remove it?

Contact support. Good luck, you'll need it.

Of course there's a chance. But you'll likely be fighting boilerplate responses for weeks before you get an actual chance.

just a heads up to anybody here.
NEVER BRING UP STEAMGIFTS ON STEAM
you can get your account permanently banned from all forums and posting

It's not SteamGifts specifically. It's external links in general. Steam's outsourced moderators have been misinterpreting internal standards on outside links HARD over the last year. They're even hitting comments and guides pointing to Nexusmods which is specifically whitelisted.

And I just fought with Steam Support for two months over multiple banned guides and a community ban. The official statement, straight from Support when asked, is that they're cracking down on all external links but the documentation used by their external (read as: outsourced) moderation team needs to be updated and improved so that these kneejerk bans are reduced.

Same here. I just mentioned Steamgifts even not as link on winner's profile and almost immediatelly got a ban. It took a few hours to revert that via support. So the best way is to comment on winner's giveaways instead

2038? That's harsh. Basically the current end time for some (unix) computer systems: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem

Means they permabanned you.

That's some especially bad luck for you, considering that the rules changed recently. You don't have to contact winners anymore. At all.

Reveal the key, wait seven days, request reroll is necessary.

What's with the urgency? The winner has 7 days to activate. Just chill and wait, then re-roll if they don't.

Ah auto-moderation strikes again. Good luck getting it removed.
It's hilarious the number of troll posts and scam posts you see on Steam because they have learned not to use the auto-ban keywords but regular people get zinged for legitimate posts.
