Having a shit day, so have a game

There are studies that show that spending money on others makes you happier than spending it on yourself.

well you spend money for strangers regardless your mood to start off.
non spends all his money on games and left without any .
if you have problems with your health I agree that you need to focus there.
if from the other hand you have martial/relationship problems none of your friends can help with that..you have only your thinking to help you with it.
people tend to envy relationship and will surely won't do you any good (well most of the time)
finally financial problems are something on a diffrent matter.
you don't spend on anything especially games..
but the mood is a different topic.
you can give a game to someone and feel good about it so in the longrun will improve your mood.
but I mostly agree with you mate. you don't give a game to make you feel good.
you give something because you had it and want to share it my gibs aim to ppl that wanna play the game and not just add it to the pile or idle it

Well, in my opinion; if you make others happy, you feel happy. Even my goal in life is this: Keep somebody alive rather than keeping yourself alive.

As regards spending your money for strangers rather than people you know, well, when I'm in a bad mood by reason of relationship problems I feel like I hate everyone I know. But if I think broadly, I love humanity, but not some people. This is one of the reasons why I choose people of this place to give something.

Just be nice, don't swear, and ... kind of that's all, you don't really need much more to be good in the eye of the majority of the site.
