Oh god! i would so play Ori!
i played Child of light, and Ori should be so much more beautiful...
Edit: i feel bad. don't choose me, cause i'm already inside your Valiant GA. unless you really have to choose another one

Valiant Hearts is SO worth having to deal with Uplay! I played it right after I bought it ♥
As for Ori, it's been #2 on my wishlist since it came out. When I get it - whenever that may be - I'll be installing it immediately, and playing it as soon as it's downloaded :D

Oh... So do I wait for another thread for Ori? Or do I try my best to convince you now? If it's the latter than I will edit and bump again! :P

To convince you that I will play "Valiant Hearts: The Great War" is kind of hard since most of the games that I own are still not played or just farmed for cards. But fortunately for me, the workload that I have for this month is quite light that I even had the time to play both of the Poker Night games as well as the newly released Armello game and also a session of Dungeon of Endless. Seeing that most of these games are quite session-based, I'm thirsting for a new game to play that is more of a story-based game.
Anyways, I'll pretty much buy a copy of it whenever it gets to an affordable price range for my wallet as this has been one of my long time wish listed games it in case I won't be able to convince you. Cheers and thanks for giving the time and opportunity to others.

not begging, it will be a bunch of factors like how long has the game been wishlisted, how many games the person has wishlisted total, etc, etc. Plus at the end of the day if they beg for a chance and then end up playing it i won't mind as much; and if they do lie to get the game, they're automatically blacklisted since I add all my winners as friends on steam and monitor their activity.

Great concept, unfortunately not interested in either of the giveaways at this time. I'll be keeping an eye out though for the future.

Don't know if I would play them now as I don't play much lately but those are nice games (I'm interested in them for some time) so have a bump at least so some more people who'd want to play it would notice your thread :)
This sentence was like a marathon or some...

I hope so too, well we'll see what happens, all depends on the funds

I've been trying to avoid learning too much about the plot of the game, so I don't know much more than the fact that it takes place during the Great War, but Valiant Hearts has been on my must-play list for a while now. Mainly because of the raving reviews I've seen; I love a game that is able to affect the player emotionally. It's a small confirmation for me that my favorite hobby is indeed "art", despite what some critics might claim. I'm also interested in playing it because of the game's genre. I've always loved Lucasarts'-style adventure games, and I'm interested to see what the developer who made Beyond Good & Evil, From Dust, and Rayman can do with the genre.
I haven't really been involved with too many discussion about the game, because I am trying to avoid spoilers, but the game has been on my wishlist since May 6.
Like I said earlier, it's on my must-play list of games, so I definitely plan on picking it up at some point in the near future when my finances are a bit less limited, but I would love to have the opportunity to play the game even sooner than that. Thanks for this idea, and the giveaway, and I wish everyone vying for the game the best of luck at having the opportunity to play this game soon, one way or another.

I will convince you, by already owning it, playing it, and sobbing in a corner for 4 hours after beating it!

P.S.: woops almost forgot, currently running "Convince me" is Valiant Hearts, next up - Ori and the blind forest
P.P.S: just to clear up the confusion - I'll make another thread for Ori when Valiant Hearts is over.
Valiant Hearts would certainly get played fast. Ori would be shelved for a fair while. :X
(With me being a massive adventure game/VN/Point and Click fan. :) )
Not sure I'd make it to your whitelist, though; I generally play non-online-play steam games in offline mode, and actually play games on GOG more often in general. :P
Even with that being said, I think I'm less than 2/5ths into touching games in my library :X
So if you're basing on previous play ratios, perhaps not.
But if the condition is solely 'you can win Valint Hearts if you agree to play it right away': That I'm sure I can manage. ;)
Though the computer bit is a fair concern, the way mine has been dying, but I'll be getting a replacement by Christmas, so that'd be the maximum delay.

I wishlisted it over a year ago, it's been always in top 5, now even top 1 since few months :) Watched the trailer on the shopsite a thousand times, I love the narrator and the awesome music in it watches trailer right now again ^^
Always hesitated because of additional Uplay-DRM, but I heard this has been fixed to a decent background-check, I can live with that. So now would be the perfect time to start this game :)
Thanks for hearing my story :)

I didn't knew Valiant Hearts till now. It looks like an amazing game.
Beautiful art, the art itself would already be enough to make me hooked. I love drawing and the art style of the game is absolutely beautiful.
And mostly important, it seems to also have a beautiful history. And I'm all about games that tell a good history. I love games that tell a history, that are more than a game, are an experience, those are my favorites.
Also, as an old-school fps player, I love war themed games.
Even tho I don't make it (since I just heard about the game, which is fair), I wanna thank you for letting me know about it. From now on its on my wishlist. This game just have a LOT of elements I love, some not even directly related to gaming, all together. I'm embarrassed I just heard about it now.
PS: That song from Lorne Balfe at the trailer... omg! I love that song. They had already won half of me there, I must say.

Well i always play all my games won or buyed, i see you are going to giveaway 2 games.
the first game Valiant Hearts i don't have it in whislist but i'm 100% sure if i win it i will play, the second game Ori and the blind forest i'm 100000% sure if i won it i will play, i love trine series games and Ori and the blind forest it's similar i have it in my whislist from a lot of time.
and well i don't like to beg but i think the same like you, when i giveaway i want a winner who will play the game and not only collector guy, there's a lot of people who want to play games instead of collector. (i hate collector people!!!!!!)
and from now i have 3 games unplayed of my 110 in my account
-one i won last week in giveaway (double copy and i giveaway the extra copy, while other people try to trade for another game)
-one i traded the game and don't have enough time to invest in him at this moment (it's a long game, however it's a strategy game and i love them)
-one i buyed from last summer sales.(it's a plataformer that i'm saving to play for a time when i'm really bored and don't have any other game to play, a true gamer always have one game to save for a bad times!!!!)
however i hope i can participe in at least the Ori and the blind forest game i really really really want it and if you add me to whitelist i can evade to enter in the Valiant Hearts giveaway and only enter in the ori game.for finish say that i have less given than won games but at least all my games givenaway are buyed from steam store and not from humble bundles.
thx for this 2 great giveaways!!!!!!

So in an effort to make folks' dreams come true, I'm planning on starting a new giveaway series called "Convince me you'll play...". The point being - only people who can convince me they'll play the game are going to temporarily end up in my whitelist for a whitelist giveaway (excluding 5-6 permawhitelisted friends of mine).
I will judge the entries (and I'm not that harsh), taking into account things like past wins/play ratio, how long you've had the game on the wishlist, were you involved in discussions about the game, etc (I've done this with some games and it seems to have worked out nicely so far).
P.S.: Folks who manage to convince me but leave the game unplayed without a legitimate reason (and no, my pc can't run yet, I'll play it in 5 years, is not a legitimate reason) are going to end up blacklisted.
Happy convincing.
P.S.: woops almost forgot, currently running "Convince me" is Valiant Hearts, next up - Ori and the blind forest
P.P.S: just to clear up the confusion - I'll make another thread for Ori when Valiant Hearts is over.
