Groupees is doing a pretty job being consistent with its bundle types. Be Mine is always good-to-great.
It works the other way, too. I know certain Groupees bundles NEVER to buy. :)

Interestingly, there are 'cake creme rolls' that bakeries will make, that are similar in structure to twinkies, and actually taste good (try the red velvet creme rolls, mmm).
Twinkies, however, are terrible :P
That being said, supposedly at the time the myth became popular, the actual shelf life was something like 36 days, then they were redesigned to be more cakey. Regardless, that's still not near the 'indefinite' claim of the myth.
Whatever the actual case there is, the 25 day component is still incorrect- Prior to Hostess going bankrupt, the shelf life went up from 25-26 days to 45, and the reintroduced Twinkies are based on that most recent formula.

I'll guess the actual time it takes a Twinkie to go bad is somewhere between 25 days and several decades. That creamy filling probably gets pretty nasty after year one.
But edible? Probably.

Actually, the filling is supposedly mostly made of shortening, which has a shelf life of 1 to 2 years. Theoretically, as you said, it'll go stale, but won't even start tasting 'bad' until about that time period has passed. :X

Anyone else notice Twinkies now... aren't the same? I know Pabst Blue Ribbon bought the recipe and brought them back, but the cake seems to be heavier and the cream is like jelly for some reason.

The recipe got changed shortly before they got pulled off the market [and they got made smaller]; The rerelease uses the most recent formula, or a variation thereof.

I could swear I had a box of the "last Twinkies ever" but maybe it wasn't the new recipe and just the store getting rid of the old Twinkies they still had. That would explain why it tastes different, though. Thanks!

I don't really know about other european countries but as far as I know they're not sold in Austria (except at specialty import food shops maybe). They are still fairly known because they are mentioned in many TV shows and most recently in the movie Zombieland.

Koi Koi is a good intro to Hanafuda!
I started playing it a few days ago and now I'm playing a Hanafuda app on my phone all the time! xD
There's also a free DLC which I recommend getting. One of the new BGMs has a nice Japanese festival feel to it.
And sorry I didn't get around to activating Talos yesterday! I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw that I had won!
But I fell asleep while cuddling my dog.

Just in case it is of any interest, I actually have a one handed category for my Steam library as I have two young boys and often have them on my knee either watching something on my secondary screen or fallen asleep with my arm around them. Currently I have three games in it:

World Of Goo

And a trick I saw that should work with most young children: Just hand them a second/third controller that's not plugged, but make them think they're playing too. It's a bit sneaky, but when I tried it once it worked well and the boy was happy to play with me.
My current line-up is Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink and Mind Snares: Alice's Journey.
I'm thinking hidden object games and visual novels are best for me right now. I don't have to suddenly strain my clumsy left hand too much but I also won't be missing on out on the fun parts of the games.
Card games and match threes work too if you play zen ones, meaning without time presssure.
I don't think I'll go for 100% on Koi Koi though. 500 wins is quite a lot, especially if the AI tends to stop the game the moment it gets some good points.

It's all Japanese, but you don't need to know any to play it. I think the AI is better in that it is more daring, it won't stop the moment it is in the lead as I feel Koi Koi is doing. But to be fair it can be stupidly daring at times.
If you want some basic info on Hanafuda or the basics for the app I'll gladly share what I know :)

Excellent, I'm definitely getting it, but was starting to wonder what would make this Be Mine worthy of being a Be Mine with only 4 games if the first two guesses were correct and 1/4th of the games were either 9.99/4.99 or 2.99 (if it's Murder, which is the latest guess, but I'm doubting that). This makes me feel better about my eventual and unavoidable purchase

I don't feel like i'm missing out on too much :) I'd rather not eat it and save my stomach from gastrointestinal problems than go through pain from eating milk-based products ><
I cannot eat cheese, yogurt, anything dairy related. I eat vegan products and meat-substitutes, but def not meat-flavored items for the purpose of it tasting like meat.

I drink almond milk but it's hard to find a brand that doesn't use milk from cows. Well actually I take that back... I can find brands but sometimes it's a bit too pricey for me :p

THERE IS COW MILK IN ALMOND MILK? :O or maybe you meant microwavable waffles have cow milk in them? either way buy a waffle maker for making your own waffles and use homemade almond milk. problem solved. enjoy your delicious delicious waffles. don't forget to put some homemade hazelnut butter on them before putting the fruits. yum.
