I don't know if you're automatically connected to playfire because of the voting or promotion - try logging in to it and check, link your steam account if you haven't already done so. Then just idle it for maybe a few minutes (6? 12? dunno what's a good number) , no need to start on it...and bam, £1 :D

You get it from Playfire after running the game for the first time. The credits will show up in your GMG balance automatically, however it takes some time for them to appear there.

How long did it take you to receive your credit? I got it when the first thread was posted, started idling till all the cards dropped and still no credit arrived.

Steam says that I activated bioshock 1 September.
So it had to be something between 0 and 3 hours until all cards dropped. Based on my programming knowledge I assume that Playfire detects it based on first time played, if user didn't play it yet before promotion begun. Also it requires properly connected steam to Playfire, perhaps also GMG to Playfire (to confirm that you got bioshock through the promotion).
Last two ones are only guesses, you may want to contact support if you didn't get it, and you think you should.

Be careful not to detach your Steam account from the GMG account within 30 days after getting the game.
I've found a point in their rules that states they can take away your game if you do so.

From what I can tell they won't though you'd need to search through the rules to be sure.

Yea that's what I told him, and he didn't trust me, saying that he will get it himself another time... Told him about the deal cause he had bioshock infinite on his wishlist for months but have not gotten the game. This got me feeling rather irritated, which lead to me posting.
