I've just discovered that my old joypad still works, I've played a bit of Magicka\Trine2, and now I'm looking for something else.

Oh and... seriously Dragon Ball Xenoverse has no local coop ? It's a bad joke, isn't it ?

Umh Resident Evil and Sonic, maybe are ok
But I'm not really interested in turn-based, too "slow"

Hm, depends on what you like. There are a lot of interesting local coop games, like for instance:

  • Obscure I (nearly whole game)
  • Hammerwatch (whole game)
  • Guacamelee (whole game)
  • 1001 Spikes (whole game)
  • Fistpuncher (whole game)
  • Dead Pixels (whole game)
  • Adventure of Shuggy (only bonus level)
  • Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (only bonus mode)

Played them all and most of them are really good. But I think Obscure I is one of the best coop experiences I've made.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't thought of coop. Well, you can never go wrong with Portal 2!

I don't think it qualifies for local coop. But still great local multiplayer game.

EDIT: Is split-screen available in the PC version of Portal 2?

Edited it, thanks though, I didn't notice at first. Other good game that has splitscreen is Borderlands, and I think both of its predecesors as well.

EDIT: It is, I played through quite a lot of chambers with my cousin.

You're right, I was thinking of the PS3 version for some reason >.< But there seems to be a mod that allows you to play it splitscreen. Serious sam 3 has split screen and it's awesome.

MaxThunder is right, there is a mod which "hacks" local co-op to the Borderlands series. Basically what is does is that it runs two copies of the game at the same time. Different players can have their own saves and characters also so it's somewhat like the co-op on consoles. I've played Bl2 and BL: TPS like this with my brother and everything works out just fine. I think you need a controller for the other player though?

Yes, Portal 2 has splitscreen in PC , I finished it with a friend. But the option is hidden and you need to make some config changes to active it, and begin the maps from the console.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse has a local co-op you just have to get far enough story wise tp unlock it. then find it in game

Well has no "local coop" on steam store .-.
I would buy it ONLY for local coop, if it's local coop sucks or... is missing I would be pretty disappointed :C

No it doesn't. That's just local versus mode, not co-op.
