Go to https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/new and start typing the game name. As long as it doesn't have double asterisk next to it, you're good to go (unless you don't care for CV and levelling up, then it is no obstacle either).
Setting a slightly higher contributor level could save you some headache, because lvl 0 users often don't know the rules, but it's entirely up to you.
Everything else is pretty self-explanatory I think.

I don't have any special advice beyond don't think so hard about it, the process is fairly straightforward. Give games away you don't want to people who want them (at least slightly) more!
Thanks for giving, and best of luck

You've read the FAQ, you've read the guidelines, and you understand the general concept of gifting and how it works.
If the above sentence applies to you; Congratulations! You have successfully accomplished all of the necessary prerequisites to partake in gifting galore. Now all that's left is to create giveaways, wait until they end, then send your digitally dusty keys to the lucky winners.
In all seriousness though - As long as you've read and understood the guidelines, there isn't much more you need to know. The rest is mostly experimenting a bit with level requirements, or even forum/puzzle/SGTools giveaways if you're feeling adventurous. If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me (on SG or Steam) and I'll be happy to help the best I can. Cheers!

the rest is up to you really
there is the community in the forum and the steam groups that set their own rules, but this is if you want to be a part of them.
as steamgifts.com go, these are optional. all you need to do is follow the rules and FAQ
P.S,,,being "fair" is relative. its all up to the giveaway creator to judge

I've already read over the FAQ and generally anything I can think of that can help with my question. I figure it's best to ask people what would be fair to do and what to watch out for - things that may not be covered as neatly (or maybe not at all) in this site's FAQ.
That's pretty much the summary of my question. If you like a little backstory to the topic, you can read this nice paragraph here. I ask this question because I'm thinking about buying into a humblebundle pack for some weeb material, and I may do a giveaway with some of them. I have a knack for visual novels - and even have a list for them on a certain website - but several of the titles bundled in are ones I already own. Now, I don't usually spend money, and I'm already very nervous about spending money on discounted items just because they're discounted, but sometimes the debit card starts voicing these thoughts into my head through my wallet. The way it flaps open, revealing all its important digits, it's a real temptation right there. But yeah, I don't have any current plans on giving any of these titles to any of my friends, mainly because my friends will probably forget about even having them, and because I'm running out of weeb friends to do weeb things with.
So yeah, that's about it so far.
