Redeem Old S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamespy keys on gog and steam

So are those Gamespy codes the CD keys on the back of the manual? Because Steam's not accepting them yet, just gave mine a shot. :P

I should have an ancient copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. somewhere, if I find it I'll try to redeem my copy. Thanks for the info!

I regret dont keep the serial from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. CoP from a damage asus ROG mobo some years ago, i hope the do the same with other games too.

Sweet that a few more games can be redeemed on GOG. Shame the ones I'd really want had no game keys to redeem. Like POD Gold.

Awesome, got all of them now. Good thing the magazine I had CoP from printed the keys on discs.

So I'm wondering if I can activate my steam-keys on GOG.
Anyone with CoP on steam want to try this? I'll give my Clear Sky steam key to you to activate on GOG and you give me your CoP steam-key to activate on GOG. That way we can both play both games.

I tried using my steam-key to activate it on GOG as well, doesn't work, so I wonder if anyone actually verified that their steam-key of STALKER properly activated on GOG.

The only game i have an old code for is Sacred Gold,hope i can get it on Gog sometime, since my steam copy just doesnt work

For me:

SoC (key found in game, network mode) - doesn't work
CS (key found in Steam library) - doesn't work
CoP (key found in Steam library) - works

I wonder if Fallout 1+2 keys works.
too lazy to find the boxes at the moment

For those that all ready own the gog games, it will NOT generate a gift on your account for trading later, so I hope they do not remove this feature in the future.
In the mean time, you can just hold onto the cd-keys.

Is it allowed to trade for cd keys you get from the steam version? Can it give issues if the same cd key is used by 2 different people? Like with multiplayer or such?

I'm just wondering, If I redeem key on gog, will I be able to redeem it on steam too? I'm only asking because it seems that some of you can redeem steam keys on gog.

I can confirm that cd action keys given free or printed on DVDs work and give english version on GOG
and you can still find 12/2013 magazine for 2 euro with Stalker COP key plus Sanctum Steam key and McPixel, Damnation DRMfree versions
