IP temporarily banned

So, at home I can't go to steam gifts because "your IP is temporarily banned"

I don't share my IP with anyone, no one in my household (other than me) even knows steam gifts exists, and obvious my account is fine.

What gives?

got the same problem (i have static ip), but right after i changed it with proxy, i am fine to join

Got it too. Just disabled and enabled network adaptor to get back in.

It will go away. I had the same message happen did nothing and it worked after couple minutes

It can have something to do with this.

Just had the same happened to me logging from my cell. I'm just glad it's not a problem with my account, I have an addiction to sustain;)
